This kid is amazing, needs more consistency, it was supposed to be the most talented player of the 99 Portuguese generation (along with biggest flop ze gomes), but then João Felix appeared, and now Florentino, Diogo costa and Dalot
Remember when him and Trincão were making a mockery of the defenses in the Euros u19 and thinking on what this kids could become - shame that they didnt had the best of starts at senior level, but at least they seem to keep improving
He's been extremely consistent for us but been a bit unfortunate to have injuries at times when he would have been able to show his ability. He's far too good for this league.
Transfermarkt values for players in leagues like ours are total shit. £8m wouldn’t buy Jota’s left foot. I swear Transfermarkt had Edouard listed at £8m at one point when we literally bought him for £9m and he had been great for us.
Unless we get another player at a level of Henrik Larsson then selling someone for £40m just simply won’t happen but I can defo see Jota going for £20m-£25m
Point still stands, Celtic missed a criminal amount of great chances this campaign. Scoring one great free kick at the end of a dead rubber is absolutely pointless, despite being “better than nothing”.
the experience learned not just from this game, but all of them, on the other hand, is not pointless at all.
We have a foundation, it wont serve us unless we get into this competition every year though, we need to build on it.
Ofc there was experience and lessons to be learned throughout the entire game I never denied that, just stated that scoring a nice free kick at the end of a game they’re being battered in is pointless in the overall scheme of things (bar providing a nice memory for Jota and the away fans) when they’d ultimately themselves to blame for missing sitters every single game.
Great free kick. Although they obviously struggled in the CL, Celtic have some real quality attackers in their team and it'll be interesting to see how the next years play out with respect to other teams trying to snatch them up.
Honestly think we’ll get another year out of most of them because no one really stood out. Out of all of them, I’d have said Hatate made the biggest impression, looked totally comfortable among the elite, but the idiot Japan manager hasn’t even taken him to the World Cup.
Brilliant strike but when your team has been torn apart you don't look up to the heavens in glee.
Antony scored a sensational goal for Man Utd to make it 4-1 City and he would have looked ridiculous if he'd ran over the fans.

Small consolation but still lovely goal
After all that they’ve went through this group stage, hey, they deserve it!
Sheet is the price we pay for weekly Fede Bangers.
Absolute peach of a goal from Jota. Class from the away fans as well for sticking in. Loved hearing the roar.
are we allergic to clean sheets? great kick tho
We truly can't keep a cleansheet , fantastic goal though
YASSSSSS WE’RE THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD
what a hit son
Such a shame he’s missed some of these games due to injury. Our best player and only getting better.
Treat out boy well
That was clean af, means so much to the lad as well
solid fucking goal. Tears of happiness from scoring after 5 down really shows what it means to him, happy for the dude.
Bangers only today, good grief
Cracking kick that

Atleast they got one goal, cracking one aswell
If he was fit.....
I feel like Jota should be rated higher than 8 mil on Transfermarkt

I could definitely see you guys selling Jota for 25-40 mil sometime down the road, he’s just too good.
Unless we get another player at a level of Henrik Larsson then selling someone for £40m just simply won’t happen but I can defo see Jota going for £20m-£25m
we've had some absolute robberies off you, agreed - combined VVD, wanyama , forster was less than 40m
Do people not know the working behind those evaluations? They are hardly indicative of anything
We are the kings of Europe 👑👑👑
Man almost cried after that, what a strike
Scoring a worldie at the Bernabeu, I don't blame him
He looked so happy, living the dream
That's worth 5, surely
6
Nice hit. Kids got something in him. Enjoy him while you can Celtic.
Beautiful
He's soo happy, probably like a dream for him
What a goal!
He looks so happy :)
Clean Sheet is the price we pay for weekly Fede Bangers
What a goal by Jota
what is a clean sheet?
It’s when you’re not Real Madrid…. I mean keep your score to 0
Are there matches that have ended with one side not conceding at all??
We only have like 2 or 3 CS all season. Wild
You are walking into a 4-0 joke here
That 4-0 joke is gonna walk into a trophies won joke.
Tbh that's a great free kick
no complaints tbh, absolute banger
Absolutely brilliant. Well done Jota
Unlucky for madrid since everyone knows last goal wins
Damn that’s quicker than the 1 added minute on fifa
Invoked Shunsuke Nakamura there
Tibo deserved his clean sheet but I can't be mad at that
That’s a gorgeous freekick
I love this man
I knew we were going to concede, can't be too mad about that though it's a great goal.
All my homies hate clean sheets
What a kick!!! Wow
Real fans wanting clean sheets You already win games by 2+ goals lmao
I can say that I was there when this goal was scored
Good of these mugs to score these belters now rather than score the easier chances when it would've actually mattered
Better than nothing tho

An absolute W bossman, dead rubber for us but some goal

Real Madrid, keep a clean sheet challenge(impossible)
Great goal.
What a fucking player
\[Bad Wall\]
What a finish that is. Beauty.
Not even mad. That was a clean shot.
Nice goal, but Nacho really should have been in the way of that one.
It's that post click that makes it. What a strike. No chance for the keeper.
5-0 is the most dangerous lead.
Incredible.
Bruh, we can NOT keep a fucking clean sheet
Fantastic, no way he stays next summer I imagine?
Come back home
Rui Costa bring the kid back home.
FFS keep a clean sheet for a change
Nacho could jump higher
Great goal, but that wall had a hole
We can't fucking keep a clean sheet to save our lives. Ffs.
All match zero shooting. Suddenly Messi.
Celtic had 14 shots, 8 on target.
Yeah but all weak shots. Straight at keeper.
Cracking goal but FFS what ye celebrating for, we got pumped
Man scored a banger at the Bernabeu, cut him some slack.
Anno he did
Aye mate a would’ve been buzzing if he looked heavy raging after it, would’ve pure made ma night
damn
Keep a clean sheet challenge [IMPOSSIBLE]
<3
@fernandosantos
too late André silva scored a shit goal
It was never going to happen anyway
Celtic are a huge club. They are former European champions. They should not be celebrating a consolation in a 5-1 drubbing.
Have you seen the goal? I'd celebrate that even of I was trailing by 10 to Everton
