Idk fam. The Italian defenders took the Italian defenders out. Germany had 3 players split wide when the ball was played in and eventually to Müller - and Italy were compressed in midfield. The three closest players to any Italian defender were another 3 Italian defenders. Müller just had to step through the gaping hole that Italy made for him in midfield and make a peach of a cross.
