Benzema needs to come back to Lyon and share some of the secrets of that unreal mentality
This team is just insane, I still can't belive they actually pulled a comeback in the last 2 min
This run is actually unreal. A comeback against PSG, a comeback against the defending champs and a comeback against City in extra time lmao that's insane.
As a great man said, Football bloody hell.
And boy do Real reek havoc once a game is truly in the balance.
Another game like those ones where Real were 2nd best until they needed to get the ball in the net.
20 years ago, I could not imagine ever rooting for Real Madrid in a game. Nowadays oil clubs exist that make me do that. 3rd knockout game in a row now that I'm rooting for these cunts.
Honestly just to not hear the English pundits/tweets/redditors go "BEST LEAGUE!!!!1!1!!1!1!1!1!!1!!1 REST ARE FARMERS!!!1!1!!1!1!2!2!2!2!", i really hope you guys win it, despite hating your club from the bottom of my heart.
We’re bottlers of many things, but not of last-minute European defeats. That prize is squarely on City. We lose our European competitions too early and often for that honour.
Nah KDB weren't great this match and Gundo helped them stabilize and dominate the midfield even more up until those last minutes. Agree about other subs though, City surprisngly needs another RB because Cancelo is toothless on the right, and Pep should have just rely on the in-form attackers like Mahrez or Jesus instead of hoping on underperforming subs like Grealish or Sterling
always rated Sterling (and defend him), but yeah, he did nothing and actively was trying not to cross. Like wtf, you're down 2, just cross and inshallah ffs. (tbf that's an issue with Pep's teams: when down they act like they're up. It's not confidence, like RM, but almost a kind of anxiety where they revert to perfect passes)
I think that's the thing with Pep, he never switches into inshallah mode. How many times did Grealish and Sterling run down the line only to never cross and lose the ball trying that same old back pass to the penalty spot ?
Grealish was bought as a cog for a well-oiled system but for 100m you’d expect him to be able to drag the team by the scruff of the neck when necessary. He can be a creative force but honestly he hasn’t shown enough for a 100m player. Good? Yes. Justifying his price tag? No.
Also Sterling was doing his best Rashford impression when he came on, just with more effort.
Meh, he was unlucky not to score and was basically the only one trying to make something happen in extra time.
Sterling was terrible though for the short amount he was on.
I think Real Madrid 2017-2018 is close. PSG, Juventus, Bayern Munich.
Also faced Liverpool in the final, though that was a worse Liverpool side than this.
I don't think it's that close tbh.
Most stacked paris ever. Previous champions league winner, an absolute machine that is city and liverpool that are both on course for a 95 point season.
These are the strongest teams anyone has ever faced in a knockout competition, and the manner of which they got knocked out is unparalleled.
Especially considering no one had this real team on their visors before the season started. A temporary band aid manager overseeing a transitional phase of the club. And look at them now, champions of span and CL finalist in one of the most stunning CL campaigns ever witnessed. Baller man.
Real in Europe are just something else entirely. Ancelotti leaving Everton to a relegation scrap and then embarrassing City in a semi final so they continue their streak of absolute failure in Europe. This season was written by scousers
Last time Liverpool lost the Final it was Real Madrid and the last time Real Madrid lost the final it was to Liverpool. both have lost 3 finals, so it'll mean that whoever loses will have the other one represent half of their EC/CL final loses
Thank you, Real Madrid, for dispatching 3 oil clubs in a row. (well, one of them a gas club)
Good luck in the final, two teams financing themselves playing it is much healthier for the game.
Just reaching this final feels so satisfying as RMA fan. Odds were against us but it turned out perfectly. Won't matter if we lose the final cos this team has surpassed the expectations.
The sheer panic in City's team after Madrid's 2nd goal was glorious. They passed it straight down to Edersen from kick-off who kicked it out for a throw-in.
Benzema needs to come back to Lyon and share some of the secrets of that unreal mentality This team is just insane, I still can't belive they actually pulled a comeback in the last 2 min
If that third Rodrygo shot went in it would have been one of the most iconic comebacks ever seen
Madrid would have burned down bro.
>unreal mentality I can assure you it's very much a *Real* mentality...
Beautiful.
They’ve pulled an insane comeback in the last 16, the quarters and now the semis
That redraw for the 16s pissed them off *this* much.
This run is actually unreal. A comeback against PSG, a comeback against the defending champs and a comeback against City in extra time lmao that's insane.
And suddenly you find yourself with the two biggest teams in the final, football is full of surprises
As a great man said, Football bloody hell. And boy do Real reek havoc once a game is truly in the balance. Another game like those ones where Real were 2nd best until they needed to get the ball in the net.
Its crazy how as soon as they scored the first goal you just knew they were going to win the match.
Yeah I felt surprisingly not out of it when city scored, like it didn’t change the equation all that much
City was unable to fight the sheer strength of Ancelotti's raised eyebrow. You love to see it.
I'm telling you, the chewing gum is basically drugs
I love football
I love football script writers
*Everyone liked this*
I love the smell of comebacks in the morning.
City bottled it so hard
It is the history of the oil sheikhs
City aren't a basic oil club, they're more refined... They plastic LOL
That is a great joke, but everyone is just looking for comments from melted city fans and misses it.
20 years ago, I could not imagine ever rooting for Real Madrid in a game. Nowadays oil clubs exist that make me do that. 3rd knockout game in a row now that I'm rooting for these cunts.
Might as well make it four
Honestly just to not hear the English pundits/tweets/redditors go "BEST LEAGUE!!!!1!1!!1!1!1!1!!1!!1 REST ARE FARMERS!!!1!1!!1!1!2!2!2!2!", i really hope you guys win it, despite hating your club from the bottom of my heart.
You hate Real Madrid because you're a Bayern supporter. You hate Man City and PSG because you're a human being.
back-to-back semifinals. Put some respect on UAE NT's name
Players take off their jerseys to reveal spurs kits underneath. Pep pulls off his bald cap to reveal the even balder, shinier head of Daniel Levy.
Psh, when was the last time Spurs lost a Champions League semi-final?
We’re bottlers of many things, but not of last-minute European defeats. That prize is squarely on City. We lose our European competitions too early and often for that honour.
we just don't get there ^minus ^el ^in ^baku
They were knocked out by spurs too. In the champions league, they are worse bottlers than us.
That’s true.
we’re bad but we’ve never done anything this bad
Spurs beat them in the champions league. Them and psg are the biggest bottlers in the cl

Didn’t know he posted in r/soccer
Gotta diversify 👏👏
More than you believe
I think they need a few more surprise donors and sponsorship deals.
hoping for a league collapse now

This pic goes so damn hard
Feel free to screenshot it
The pixel count must go down
What an absolute boss
How do you say #PACKWATCH, RIP BOZO and You wont be missed in Spanish?
What even was that last 30 mins?
According to city fans...disgusting time wasting from Madrid lol
their terrorism acts against atleti met terrorist ends
Then we shall ask them what was the first 90min
Deserved for time wasting against atletico in the second match.
Also deserved loss for the man city kit
It's really awful.
They didn't even create chances, hit the ball and pray Looked completely lost
City paid 100m for Jack Grealish
Glorified wig
90mil for his hair products alone
LMAOOOOOOOOO
He was decent, but good god was Sterling awful. Newcastle buying him rumours will get a big boost after tonight.
Subbing off Mahrez was a HUGE mistske!
I was so relieved to see that happen. Mahrez was scary
pep overthink masterclass
How? Kdb was terrible as were their wingers
Tbh other than the goal. Mahrez wasn't great either. Wingers just were not existent for city
That’s because of mendy :D
[удалено]
They lost a lot of their stability after their subs. KDB especially.
KDB was subpar and gundogan played a huge role in their goal
Gundogan was great but Fernandinho balanced it out with his lack of well, anything.
Nah KDB weren't great this match and Gundo helped them stabilize and dominate the midfield even more up until those last minutes. Agree about other subs though, City surprisngly needs another RB because Cancelo is toothless on the right, and Pep should have just rely on the in-form attackers like Mahrez or Jesus instead of hoping on underperforming subs like Grealish or Sterling

exactly. It's like you're down, and you need something, but Pep must drill it into them that the perfect pass is what you need.
They desperately need a target man. The only player they have forward of center taller than 5'6 is KDB lol
Madrid got their goals by crossing and InshaAllah. (By the way who the hell came up with this phrase)
Grealish was bought as a cog for a well-oiled system but for 100m you’d expect him to be able to drag the team by the scruff of the neck when necessary. He's most creative when he decides whether to dribble to the left or to the right of the opponent
Could have shut some mouths by scoring one of the two chances, but he ain't shutting no mouths this season. Not easy chances to be fair.
[удалено]
The second one sure. The first one though was a miracle save by Mendy. Wouldn't hold that against any player.
Meh, he was unlucky not to score and was basically the only one trying to make something happen in extra time. Sterling was terrible though for the short amount he was on.
was City's best attacker
And Real Madrid 35m for Karim Benzema
I mean, that was back in 2009. If you do the math to adjust for transfer inflation that's probably not very far off 100m.
30m for Camavinga and only because we wanted to be fair by Rennes
Manchester < Madrid < Manchester < Madrid
There is always a bigger madrid in the ocean.
Tell me more about this Liverpool Man City final please BT sport
Real Madrid genuinely have plot armor, but w/e it takes for City to never get a UCL.
It's like fighting a new boss at each level and slaying him.
We won the mental game once Vallejo and The Lord came on.
Champions mindset. You can't buy it
No Cristiano, no Ramos, no Zidane, no Varane, no Bale,... Still got it
yet at least..
Man City reduced to shelling it long, never thought I'd see the day.
Flashback to last year as Ederson's final long ball falls neatly into the hands of Mendy as the latter falls to his knees...
LADS IT'S MANCHESTER CITY
Probably the goat cl run ever if real wins the cl. Comeback vs Psg, Chelsea, city. That's unreal.
Madrid beat all the teams who were in the semis last season, but themselves.
Arguably 4 out of the top 5 in Europe this season ( Bayern being the one missing)
Liverpool??
Yeah, if they win. Liverpool, City, Chelsea, PSG.
I think Real Madrid 2017-2018 is close. PSG, Juventus, Bayern Munich. Also faced Liverpool in the final, though that was a worse Liverpool side than this.

Dreams cant be buy
Dreams absolutely cannot be buy
Good on Real for doing their job for the environment by removing plastic
Real in Europe are just something else entirely. Ancelotti leaving Everton to a relegation scrap and then embarrassing City in a semi final so they continue their streak of absolute failure in Europe. This season was written by scousers
If Real win, does that make Ancelotti an Everton hero again, delivering the ultimate disgrace to Liverpool?
Losing a champions league final to real madrid is hardly the ultimate disgrace
Scriptwriters getting lazy smh
They defeated 3 oil clubs on the way
That’s the best thing.
PSG and now Man City. Real Madrid fighting climate change.
You missed Chelsea...
Former oil
Plot Armor FC
KARIIIIIM THE DREEEEEEAAAMMM!!!
BENZEMA BALLON D’OR PUTAIN DE BORDEL DE MERDE
Wouldn't even be mad if they got their 14th. No one's ever fucking catching up anyways.
Milan is… Nvm i am 15 years to late. That gap of 2 became a 6 and soon enough maybe even a 7
I love this lol
I spit my drink. Time will tell.
Plz don't say that I like football
(Almost) everyone liked that
I love this sport so much.
we're just built different
Your players clearly wanted it more
Or wanted it at all. Haven’t seen us this lifeless since forever.
Good, fuck your club.
Absolute black magic out there today
European Royalty
Me, you and *AC* Milan.
Cassano:you are just lucky
¡HALA MADRID! Rodrygo is a hero and Big Dick Benz is the finisher!!!
Great job Real
This is... FOOTBALL HERITAGE! This is Madrid's competition and hopefully they do the business in the final once again.
this is what 13x trophy confidence does that your team , compared to team with small team confidence lifting local caraboo trophies lol
I sense nothing but truth in this comment lol
What can men do against such never ending winning.
Local carapoo trophies 😂😂 I'm dead
I wonder what the odds were at 89mins for Madrid to win?
Spare a thought for those poor people who don't like football. Unbelievable Jeff.
Football is quite simple. While Carlo sub in a Brazilian winger, Pep sub in an English winger. Then you have it.
The difference between having 2 brazilian wingers and 2 british wingers
Real Madrid are on steroids in the CL
Bald fraud strikes again XD Seriously, HOW did they manage to lose?!?!?!?!
The secret strat: Get them tired Hold subs Then hold them even more Then boom! Rodry Cama, balls in. ??? Profit.
Carlo refusing to make subs before the 75th finally pays off
Just like how you guys did.
Damn, burn
Think it’s safe to say Benzema has pretty much locked down Ballon D’or, feels almost guaranteed even if they don’t win the final.
Ref was very very dodgy all game. Still absolutely insane football match. Incredible
The added time in extra time was a bit of a joke and he blew it before the end of time too lol
> blew it before the end of time too denied City one last chance to hoof it into Fernandinho of all people.
Don't like Madrid or Manchester, but that had me shouting at the TV. Ref really was sus af
Perfectly summed up the ref tbf
Casemiro not getting booked at all in that game is the biggest mistake of all.
makes up for City having a decade of Fernandinho doing exactly that
What do you think Casemiro has been doing all these years?
can’t stand oil clubs but that ref was sus as hell
Welcome to italian refereeing. They are all absolutely shit
I mean he could have sent Laporte off too and didn’t. He was just shite.
seems like the ref can't stand oil clubs either
He was trash, but thankfully just trash all around.
Tbf he fucked up for both sides, just bad refereeing honestly.
DADDY SHEIK I NEED ANOTHER 1 BILLION POUNDS!!!
Real Madrid have been that horror movie villain you think is dead but that somehow just won't die.
never write off Real Madrid
lol City, even we couldn't bottle a 2 goal lead in the 90th minute
Hasta el final, vamos Real!!!!
HELL YES If they beat Liverpool in the final I’ll never slander Real Madrid again
Defeat
All is right in the world, now. Except for the Russia thing and the pandemic thing .
Last time Liverpool lost the Final it was Real Madrid and the last time Real Madrid lost the final it was to Liverpool. both have lost 3 finals, so it'll mean that whoever loses will have the other one represent half of their EC/CL final loses
Well. I registered for Mars project just now. Anybody else joining?
They beat all 3 oily clubs in the knockout stages
Thank you, Real Madrid, for dispatching 3 oil clubs in a row. (well, one of them a gas club) Good luck in the final, two teams financing themselves playing it is much healthier for the game.
Why was the bottom section of seats closed off?
They’re reconstructing the stadium
Stadium is under renovation.
Refurbing the stadium still.
Wow
DON CARLO
A por la 14
Football heritage
Just reaching this final feels so satisfying as RMA fan. Odds were against us but it turned out perfectly. Won't matter if we lose the final cos this team has surpassed the expectations.
Football won today
I still cant believe this happened.
Absolutely incredible team. They never give up.
When Benzema smiled after scoring the penalty last week still being down by 1 goal. I knew they were going through
I love this team so much!
The sheer panic in City's team after Madrid's 2nd goal was glorious. They passed it straight down to Edersen from kick-off who kicked it out for a throw-in.
This is football heritage
PSG, Chelsea and City holding hands…
City collapsed faster than the price of Oil during the GFC
