He’s won 1 league title with each:
Signs for the club
Wins the league
Refuses to elaborate further
I was pretty frustrated with our board when they gave him the sack… we broke league records in his first season and won our first ever domestic double…
I remember your team in his first year. It hurts to say as an Arsenal fan but it was incredibly fun to watch.
He really unlocked all the attacking potential of that team and the individual players in it. Id argue that several players had their best seasons. Drogba was insane and not just scoring goals- I swear I remember him drifting onto the wings in some games and creating absolute chaos with his movement and interchanges with Malouda, Anelka, and Kalou. Lampard thrived in all the space they created.
I admire managers like Carlo who arent obsessed with one tactic or playing style but find the tactics that their players are comfortable with and can thrive in.
He isnt able to do it every single season, but when he hits on the right tactic for his players you get some great teams like his 2009 Chelsea and mid-2000s Milan. He's really gotten the most out of Benz and Vini in this Madrid team too.
I would say he didn't make the best use of the mid 2000's Milan. 2 CL's and a final are impressive. Their league form was poor for such a stacked team
Really at the time it was different because the league was truly stacked and not just in the top positions, a deep cup tie really took a lot of strenghts you might not have had in the league.
Yeah but so was Juve and Co
At the time, Juve and Inter at different times had really good squads I would say, and there was also Roma from 2001 to 2004 who had a really competitive squad aswell. The only difference being Milan succeeded in Europe whilst Inter had to wait until 2010 and no one else won anything in Europe.
Hard to keep a strong league form in mid 2000's Italy to be honest. His first years had pre-Calciopoli Juventus, which was very similar to Real Madrid in terms of stacked individual talent, and his latter years had Mancini's Inter slowly becoming one of the strongest teams in Europe. Not to mention these were the years when Roma and Fiorentina were actually competitive teams.
Drogba on the wings bossing fullbacks in the air after every goal kick.
Hindsight is 20/20 but man sacking Carlo for AVB…
Did win the Champions League in the end though, somehow, out of the chaos...
Made the wrong decision, yet still became European champions. Textbook Chelsea.
I feel cheated.
Only Milan did he have a long term tenure, honestly.
And I think the CL wins count as elaborating further, personally
Tbf didn't win the league in his first spell at Real Madrid.
Surprised that he's only won 1 league title with Milan. They had a pretty stacked team during some years of his tenure.
Yeah it is surprising; he won 2 UCLs tho
And was a Liverpool miracle away from another
Hasnt that been his MO, better in knock outs than league
Will he go for six?
Ancelotti to The New Saints confirmed
They'll be dancing in the streets of Total Network Solutions tonight!
We'll get him at Barry Town to get a real redemption story going.
I can see he goes for it after his tenure with us tbh.
He celebrated our important league goals like crazy while always looking uninterested in CL matches, so La liga mudt be quite important for him.
Boring sidequest that got dragged on too long innit
For him it's a radiant quest he already beat three times
Ancelotti to liga NOS
Amorim out. Let's go, Carlo!
If Ronaldo is even interested in playing the Champions League next year, he can come too, I suppose.
Ronaldo leaving united for sporting to play 6 group stage champions league matches and lose the first knockout tie to Ajax 4 1 on aggregate would be hilarious
he did that for Juventus, at least he would not need to live in fricking Manchester
My man Carlo going for the J-League with Yokohama
Had he stayed in Everton he could have a chance to win the English championship.
As if Everton go down with him instead of Lampard
We need a coach next season and are the 6th league so he is welcome to give it a shot with us
Ancelotti to ajax. No rotations just goals.
at some point that might be a possibility
He’ll win the championship with Everton next season. Top 6 leagues done
Job done, off to Benfica and Ajax next
He will sign for Feyenoord and Sporting just to spite you
CR7 × Ancelotti reunion??
Yes, I also heard he is coming to feyenoord.
Completed it mate
Allsvenskan still remains
Carletto has also become the only Real Madrid manager to conquered all six available trophies in present day. Zizou is missing the cursed Copa del Rey.
* La Liga (2022)
* Spanish Supercup (2022)
* UCL (2014)
* Copa del Rey (2014)
* UEFA Super Cup (2014)
* FIFA Club World Cup (2014)
False, you forgot about the Conference League
You got me there, both Europa & Conference League actually make my comment worthless.
But you got the point :D
Technically as of right now he's only missing EL. Conference is not an available trophy since there hasn't been one given yet.
You are technically correct. Which is the best kind of correct
Yeah, I only mentioned Conference because RM missing it is maximum memeage
2014 was a good year for him
Seeing he has kicked all Europeans asses, he is Napoleon Bonacarlo
Ancelotti will do 🤨 for 90 minutes and his teams will win Europe's 5 major league titles.
Rock🤨 🤝 🤨Carlo
Found the secret to success.
All but the Portuguese’s
Do you think he gets proper acknowledgment from fans? I think he has a tough job because after Zidane won 3 CL in a row anything pales in comparison, even though he's been doing a great job this season
He would. I mean he will still get shit for not rotating when Modric starts in midweek and again next weekend against Atletico. People do appreciate what he has done though. Especially with youngsters like Camavinga, Rodrygo, and Vinicius.
Fr vinicius was looking like he might be a bad transfer till he came in
Managers like Carlo will always get criticized even if he somehow wins 4 CLs in the next 4 years. People like managers that “know tactics” and think of crazy genius plans that only real football masterminds can think of instead of results. I guess it is harder to see the positive impact these managers make on a team. I mean I haven’t seen all of their games this season or the previous one but I imagine he is one of the biggest reasons if not the biggest reason for players like Asensio, Vini and Benzema’s brilliant form and also the team’s success in all comps.
Carlo is great for good players. They all love him. Di Maria-Xabi-Modric midfield was something not all managers would've tried . He also got James-Kroos-Modric work until Modric and James injury and it all went to shit. But, that was proper free flowing football. Vinicius and Rodrygo also seem to improve under him. Even if he gets knocked out vs City, I think he has done a tremendous work with this squad
Vinicius finally has rediscovered his finishing and composure under Carlo, even if nothing else that is a *massive* achievement.
Tbf, before the 3peat he's the one who get them the La Decima. It's easy to forget he had a first stint here.
Carlo completed football
The lifting, jumping, laughing… Carlo don’t care about nothing today!
Some thanos shit
Finally Everton fans get their answer to why Carlo left
The fact that he was a manager there for one year should be looked back as a mystical fever dream
Do you know that no fans saw James Rodiguez live because of covid restrictions ?
Oh shit is that true? Because it's a proper "Everton, that"
Even the home games that had limited attendance he was injured for
That's absolutely mad. One of the highest profile players you've had in recent memory and nobody even got to see him in the stadium
It was an early issue the fans had with Rafa that they’d never get to see James play for Everton in person. That sort of died down after a good early season run, but picked back up again once we started falling into the relegation battle with no creative midfielders and no one who can even take a decent set piece consistently
I saw him in Florida. For a few minutes.
That win at anfield
Don C might pull a Mourinho and say his greatest achievement was getting 10th with that Everton side
It was a weird season, Everton seem to be winning only away games, and found Liverpool when they were losing all of their home games.
Future pub trivia question
Comes back to Everton and wins the Championship
Might be the hardest one yet
In hindsight, Carlo getting this current Everton team to a top half finish is a greater achievement than any of these trophies.
Absolutely love Don Carlo, proper legend
Most thought he was done after his Napoli stint, good to see he's doing great
You could argue he was successful at Everton too considering the position we are in now
What most people also fail to realise is how big he is in managing to attract top talent. James would have never joined without him. Thiago Silva and Zlatan would have never joined PSG without him.
For sustained success alone he's a legend, Pep was still playing when he won his first league title with Milan and Mourinho had a whole arc since then.
I always respected him as a master tactician and someone who knows how to win big games. Wouldn't mind him trying a stint with the Italy NT.
Atleti fans did a good job in reminding us of Ancelotti's poor league record all season! Thanks guys!
"Ancelloti has an awful League record. No way Madrid win La liga"

Respect the 6ft half Swedish half Spanish blue eyed user who has no trouble getting girls
No he said he was 1.90cm he’s jumping on each key when he types
I still can't believe he actually said that
Nah I’m really gonna need context for this because there’s no way
Probably gotta hit the gym in 26 minutes too
Waiting for it too lmao
Holy shit, I need the sauce
If I link the mods will bend me over
Wait wait wtf did he say that
I was genuinely lost for words when I found out he wasn't actually from Madrid. The way he goes on and on you'd think he was born in the Wanda's medical area
Wait, where is he from then?
Half Swedish, half Spanish.
Half Spanish is likely something his online persona gained over time. I used to rile him up for fun about being a plastic and in all his lists of excuses he never once mentioned being half Spanish.
He is probably from Brussels, as that’s roughly the halfway point between Stockholm and Madrid.
I just eyeballed it.
as a girl, if i ever hear a man say he has no trouble getting girls, i just know that he's completely bitchless 💀
What about when he brags about how tall he is and the fact that he has blue eyes?
Also that he's half Swedish and half spanish
that’s some combo tbf
Username checks out
I love her attitude
I too am a fan of pickled cum socks
its funny how this is a 3.4m subscribers sub and yet it still seems like most people know who this dude is, seems like he posts a tad too much here
There are some user that is quite well noticed by the subreddit, some kind of this sub 'celebrity'
OleOleSimeone, LordVelaryon, PSGAcademy, cumblast, meladroit are the some of the example
Delusionalbayernfan is up there
Which is quite sad. I hope they are at least getting paid for this.
PSGAcademy is paid in reddit awards for being the quickest to upload pulisic goals
and his posts are always insufferable. i got to know him when he was reassuring me that arsenal are wasting their time because they will never get Thomas Partey. everyone was being smug about that, but this dude managed to rise above the crowd
Bitch ass rights long ass paragraphs which dont make sense, he legit argued with me that football is not a form of entertainement, and called me plastic becuase I said it was
If football isn't a form of entertainment then what is it, fucking education? And how can you be plastic for thinking football is entertainment 💀
He's right you're plastic /s
I didn't even know he was a celebrity over here until now, but I did notice that he is a complete tool. And I rarely pay any attention to users on Reddit. Seems like he is a very special person.
He absolutely despises Mourinho and anything Mourinho-related too: Chelsea and Roma especially.
That guy accepts no criticism for simeone and is embarrassing
As a Juve fan that Tre10quarista guy is pretty delusional
He's a 1.90" chad so he's already a winner no matter what, suck it incels.
Not to mention, blue eyed half Swedish half Spanish stud
mAdRiD cAnT kEeP tHiS uP, tHeY aRe MaSsIveLy OuTpErFoRmInG tHeIr Xp GoAls
Benzema go brrrr.
Immediately thought of him after reading your first sentence.
that AouarCherki fella who hates us and thinks we should be grateful for lacazette too
My man's hiding out & on suicide watch
I would want to read his thoughts about the pasillo next game. Would be fun
It's just unhealthy to carry around all this hatred, amazing how easily he gets under people's skin.
Dude, I'm half Swedish half Spanish, 1.90 cm tall with blue eyes. Getting girls is pretty easy thankfully
> Dude, I'm half Swedish half Spanish, 1.90 cm tall with blue eyes. Getting girls is pretty easy thankfully
Do you have the link of the comment where he said that? Would love to see it
I legit cannot believe he actually said that on reddit lmao
I really don't want to believe someone would actually have the lack of self awareness to post that but unfortunately this is the Internet and its quite believable lol.
That's some FM shit
Career mode mastered
Just needs a WC or two to complete the collection.
Don fucking Carlo prove me wrong again next season
Post Covid Carlo is GOAT
Fucking do it
I’m so happy for him, 2014-15 didn’t end the way we wanted to and he got wrongfully sacked imo but he came back and won La Liga with a few games to spare
I've said this before on here as well, but the first half of the 14/15 season was some of the best football we've ever played. Ronaldo had like 20 goals in the first 10 games, Rodriguez and Modric were magical and Benz and Bale played their roles perfectly. But Carlo didn't rotate, Modric and Rodriguez got injured and it went downhill from there.
The 22 game unbeaten run was something else. We were phenomenal till december.
It wasn’t just 22 unbeaten, it was 22 WON in a row
Yeah, I could vaguely emember it being 22 wins in a row but I wasn't sure about it.
So many games where we absolutely trashed teams with big scorelines, yet threw it all away in the end. Carlo had no one to blame but himself that season.
His Chelsea side beat the Premier League goal record as well, and his Milan teams played some sexy football. When he has the offensive talent, he tends to play beautiful football
He really won all these titles just by saying 🤨
One of the greatest coaches ever. Dont see anyone reach this feat any time soon.
Also has 3 CLs. All time he is surely top 3.
Pep could do it if he went to Juventus and PSG.
So happy for him to achieve that. I can't see many managers in the near future even coming close to that. The two who are the closest to this are Pep and Mou, but I doubt if either of them would be going to the 2 remainings leagues for them.
EL Don is not given the recognition that he deserves from the larger football fan base. His AC Milan team was incredible.
Club World Cup x2
Champions League x3
Premier League x1
La Liga x1
Serie A x1
Ligue 1 x1
Coppa Italia x1
FA Cup x1
Copa del Rey x1
This is simply one of the best managerial resumes all time
Could be on for another UCL too, where he's absolutely getting the most out of a veteran line up. Terrific manager and by all accounts a very good bloke too. He's been successfully everywhere he's been and you can see from the current state of Everton just how well he was doing there.
Still cold be 4UCL if luck and Benzema are on his side.
Don't forget that in 2005 at first half he was winning the CL final 3-0...I try to forget it everyday, so difficult😢
When I stir at night I assume it's a subconcious memory of that game. ;(
One of only 3 coaches to have won 3 CLs and the only one to do it with different teams and over more than 5 years.
That resume is honestly insane.
He made all the creative players work hard, something that never used to happen in those days. No way any other manager accommodates all of them in one team, and/or win titles with that lineup.
kids on r/soccer :"naa he's shit"
Imagine criticize a coach that started winning after you were even born sometimes. Its funny to see criticism to Ancelotti wo survived 20 years of football as a coach and 30/40 years of football as a player+coach.
Ita really difficult to stay compatitive when football is changing so much, really great person and great coach
Only oleolecholocholo guy
LEGEND OF THIS SPORT. And there are still plastic kids who have the audacity to shit on him...
Guy has a magical touch. Heavily underappreciated.
Maybe because of his last jobs at Napoli and Everton. But him leaving we can see now how he carried those teams
Wow, that's a boss achievement.
Carlo completed football platinum trophy.
It’s a whole career to other managers but it’s just another day playing Football Manager for Don Carlo. He has figured out the game mechanics so now he just set the tactics and “went on vacation”until the end of the season.
Love Carlo!!! ¡Campeones!
But he is a hairy fraud according to OleOle who could never compare to the legend, the myth, the beast, Simeone.
As much as the Don gets me worried with his lack of rotations, love the man to death. Got us La Decima and we walked the league this year with him. Maybe even another CL on the cards 👀
Pride in winning 😍
Football? Completed it, mate.
One of the greatest managers out there. History is written
He also have good chance to be the only manager to win the UCL 4 times
Where is oleolesimeone
DON CARLO sends his regards
Bayern and napoli fans bout to raid this
Immortal as a player and manager
