New DD is up.
You do a good job at reminding people whenever a new DD is up :)
Pau Porres will show Pusan Plahovic his level today👍👍
Are Lille any good?
You will see today
Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit
another thing that stuck in my mind was wayne "white pele" rooney saying in the documentary that he was the best player in the world in 2004.... did anyone consider him the best in the world??
How are you still so rattled by a fucking documentary
He said he considered himself the best, which is different. He obviously wasn’t but he was young and had that mentality, that he was better than anyone, he could hold his own against anyone. And he was incredibly talented.
It was an extremely over the top documentary to be fair. Was nowhere near the best player in the world
rent free. it is genuinely sad now.
Rooney lives rentfree in your head mate.
I see absolutely no problem in a tactical drone strike levelling Stamford Bridge and then salting the earth afterwards
I'm wondering if it's time to start laughing at Lakaka.
Always been the case🔫
I think he will score if he starts today
no just have patience
Come on Benfica hope you embarrassed those Cruyff merchants tomorrow
Same. Cryuffismo is devil's creator.
Villarreal missing Gerard Moreno will be a massive blow tot them.
When will he be back?
We are winning, yes.
Lukaku might not start. Tears in my eyes, we're back
we are still ass atm wait for james to come back bro
this wont help vlohvic score a 3rd goal for juve
he has double the amount of goals this season as lukaku pipe down
lukaku has won a trophy
vlahovic will when he is freed from allegri's terrorism
Is Auba washed or was he just a victim of Artetas football?
Auba is still quality player. Part of the reason auba struggled was because the team was not creating enough chances for him.
But I also suspect that Arteta didn't really wanted to accommodate Auba in his team. The team plays much better with lacca as the striker who has better holdup play. Even in wings our youngsters are better than Auba.
Kinda washed but fuck Sharteta's dictatorship methods
Decent manager but deserves to be called Pep's cone man for eternity
Both, he's definitely past it but he can still work as a backup striker
Unbelievably washed. When he wasn't missing sitters he was blocking his teammates shots or trying to steal goals from an offside position and getting them disallowed
Did just score a hat trick for Barca though
Dictarteta strikes again
Wasnt getting enough chances and when they finally came once Arteta started to coach proper attacking patterns he couldn’t finish.
I don’t think he’s a washed as others say. He’s never been super clinical, then like you said Artetas low chance football didn’t help.
From what I’ve heard Xavi’s Barca create loads of chances but they don’t have someone to finish them. I believe he’ll do well for them.
Both, he didn't fit the system and couldn't adjust like Laca but he also clearly declined.
he is a victim imo
Is Dybala out again? What's the injury?
He makes me angry.
Isn't that more because he's been playing too much?
Oriana must be keeping him up late.
What’s with all the deleted comments lower down?
Some Chelsea fan sperged out about Bundesliga and Lewandowksi for some reason.
I don't think we say that anymore.
Did the league change it's name?
Nah it's CSKA Stamford I think.
Is Caqueret similar to Thiago? I just saw someone suggest him as a good Thiago replacement
Guimeraes was more similar to Thiago imo
I haven't watched a lot of him but he stylistically reminds me of Modric.
In style yes

What better than Captain.Leader.Legend's specialized monkey NFT'S for the morning motivation.Or go one step better and join his imaginary football club for proper training
I remember when that kid had an alright footy page.
Now he doesn't even post anything football related. It's all this NFTs. And he feels proud about spreading it
I was just joking man, I hate them to the core. The guy whose account I've mentioned gives really hilarious reasons to why they "empower" fans
if you're making a 5-aside team out of the main 6 characters from Friends, who goes where? Who gets benched?
no, none whatsoever
yep, we're all 100% cowboys at all times. Bit cringey that you're not tbh.
I'm posting from atop my horse
Judging on the tag football episode Rachel is shit at everything so get her out.
Joe is clearly a striker.
Younger Monica in goal, Joey, Ross, Rachel and Phoebe
>Younger Monica in goal
Thats ones obvious.
They're all American and none of them are sporty. Other than putting fat Joey in net the rest can play wherever and you're just fucked.
they're playing the cast from the big bang theory though so they have a chance
Didn't Big Bang Theory eventually evolve to the point where Sheldon can control objects with his mind? I think they're fucked.
i'll be honest mate i've no idea, would need the ref to keep an eye out for that sort of foul play.
Nah Ross for sure, Rachel would absolutely fly in with 2 footers
don’t you remember ‘Red Ross’? he’d get sent off within the minute
Yeah but is that what you want? Ross is at least big enough to go in goal
Wouldn't put Ross in net, he'll keep wandering off thinking you're on a break.
Lol, you got me there
I have him in my FantasyCL team so he better score
I also have Vlahovic who you betrayed Scamacca for
if they can finish,
put on a finishing masterclass as vs Atalanta and I see them progressing easily
put on a finishing disasterclass like vs United and you can win
I don’t watch La Liga so I was wondering why the betting odds were so weighted toward them. Just looked at underlying stats and by god their offense is good
Thought you had the best young defender in the world
Vlahovic hat trick
it is inevitable
We are winning tonight. What are you on about. W for victory. Vlahovic maybe scoring, who knows.
Isn’t pride one of the seven deadly sins?
It is ordinarily accounted one of the seven capital sins.
I would say that my statement didn't incriminate me. First, I said this in a very joking manner and I don't see the pride in my statement.
The Catholic perspective on pride:
>Pride is the excessive love of one's own excellence. It is ordinarily accounted one of the seven capital sins. St. Thomas, however, endorsing the appreciation of St. Gregory, considers it the queen of all vices, and puts vainglory in its place as one of the deadly sins. In giving it this pre-eminence he takes it in a most formal and complete signification. He understands it to be that frame of mind in which a man, through the love of his own worth, aims to withdraw himself from subjection to Almighty God, and sets at naught the commands of superiors. It is a species of contempt of God and of those who bear his commission. Regarded in this way, it is of course mortal sin of a most heinous sort. Indeed St. Thomas rates it in this sense as one of the blackest of sins. By it the creature refuses to stay within his essential orbit; he turns his back upon God, not through weakness or ignorance, but solely because in his self-exaltation he is minded not to submit. His attitude has something Satanic in it, and is probably not often verified in human beings. A less atrocious kind of pride is that which imples one to make much of oneself unduly and without sufficient warrant, without however any disposition to cast off the dominion of the Creator. This may happen, according to St. Gregory, either because a man regards himself as the source of such advantages as he may discern in himself, or because, whilst admitted that God has bestowed them, he reputes this to have been in response to his own merits, or because he attributes to himself gifts which he has not; or, finally, because even when these are real he unreasonably looks to be put ahead of others. Supposing the conviction indicated in the first two instances to be seriously entertained, the sin would be a grievous one and would have the added guilt of heresy. Ordinarily, however, this erroneous persuasion does not exist; it is the demeanour that is reprehensible. The last two cases generally speaking are not held to constitute grave offences. This is not true, however, whenever a man's arrogance is the occasion of great harm to another, as, for instance, his undertaking the duties of a physician without the requisite knowledge. The same judgment is to be rendered when pride has given rise to such temper of soul that in the pursuit of its object one is ready of anything, even mortal sin. Vainglory, ambition, and presumption are commonly enumerated as the offspring vices of pride, because they are well adapted to serve its inordinate aims. Of themselves they are venial sins unless some extraneous consideration puts them in the ranks of grievous transgressions. It should be noted that presumption does not here stand for the sin against hope. It means the desire to essay what exceeds one's capacity.
I’m sorry mr Allegri but I fear for the Old Lady
Nah I'm calma.
vlahovic will ghost imo
It's 2/2/22 - expect 2 touches tonight, can't wait
Inshallah Lukaku gets drafted for Russia
He will flop after being brought into the first team.
he won the serie a under your watch you have no right to criticize us.
Can't imagine slagging off your own league
you have to win the CL to take part in it. Hence even competing in it is more prestigious than playing in the serie ass.
[Always rated Pep Guardiola the GOAT](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2011/mar/07/pep-guardiola-jack-wilshere-arsenal)
Rereading the quote, seems like Guardiola went in harder on Arsenal than on Wilshere himself.
> Guardiola also stated that Arsenal have no mental weakness
Even one of GOAT managers is wrong sometimes
What happened to these players in the reserve side?
They play for 3rd division sides like Wilshere
I’m going to assume the start of that sentence is as incorrect as the end of it.
Was actually a pretty decent crop. Montoya, Bartra, Romeu, Thiago, Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, Cristian Tello, Nolito, Ruben Rochina, Deulofeu.
Not a patch on the Messi-Fabregas-Pique batch, perhaps, but considering how few youth players (even at really prestigious academies) make it at the top level, seeing that many from the 10/11 batch who went on to have solid careers at PL, Serie A, La Liga clubs is actually really impressive. Then there's Thiago, who matured into a genuinely world class midfielder, and Sergi Roberto, who, as memed as he is, still went on to make 300+ appearances for Barca.
Not bad to be fair. He got 20 or 30% right.
always knew la masala was full of average players
Damn pep was a lot less diplomatic back then
Reads like an onion article
Hearing rumors that Chelsea will play a friendly against a local Donbas club in the summer.
Btw we have no Russian sponsors, Roman is Portugese, so nothing will happen to us
Just so that you know, I think it’s temporary on hold his Portuguese citizenship since it’s being investigated by the government how legit the concession of the Portuguese citizenship was
He's Israeli as well though
Plus you sell academy players these days to fund your transfers
Transfers yes, but transfers are not everything
well... he has some portuguese blood in him... he is Sephardi Jew and now he has the nationality...
Lay off the hopium
I'd be worried if we were sponsored by Gazprom, glad we dropped that
arsocca being xenophobic as usual imagine if he was english
He’d be an even bigger cunt.
Just us with the Russian sponsors sigh
Lamps will fix that don't worry
mentioned by name in parliment though i still doubt boris will do anything
Yeah, he mentioned that Abramovich is already sanctioned so nothing further will happen
and he was caught lying saying that
punishment for lying only happens to Labour
Roman is close to Putin. Things may happen to you
Roman bought Chelsea to stay away from Putin and doesn't get offed as easily tbf
How many players do you reckon are active/past smokers whilst they were top flight footballers? Off the top of my head Szczesny and Vardy come to mind. Also remember reading up that Pirlo commented about how there is a smoking culture at Juventus and that around 10-12 players either in the past or present were active smokers at the club.
Arturo Vidal was a raging alcoholic and probably also smoked.Incredible that he still managed to run his socks off every single game despite all this.He truly was an amazing player and such a passionate one too,I respect him a lot as a footballer.Hopefully Chile manage to qualify for the World Cup because they already missed out last time around.
Grealish when he was younger. No clue if he still does.
They is no way Tom Davies doesn’t smoke the devils lettuce before every game.
Maguire must be a chain smoker judging by the way he tries to run
I think Wilshere and Rooney smoked?
Literally every British PL player up to the 21st century
I remember reading Berbatov was a smoker, which kind of fits his whole laid back vibe.
He smoked on the pitch too.
A lot of the 90s footballers used to drink and smoke before games, Nainggolan and Bellerin are players that comes to my head rn
Wasn't Pjanic smoking hookah or something very recently?
Nainggolan smokes a lot
