Its even more shocking knowing you guys have a throw in coach. Its pretty standard to have a free man on the ball when throw ins go into the box, thats why this goal is 99.9% fabinho's fault for staring

I'm not 100% certain what exactly a throw-in coach's job entails lol but I'm pretty sure he was more focused on the offensive side of them than the defensive. It doesn't really matter though, like you said it's fairly basic stuff and even a team without a throw-in coach should have adjusted. You're right that it's largely Fabinho's fault but I'd put a lot of the blame on VVD too, Deeney had tried that move where he let the ball bounce over both him and Lovren several times already and someone should have been covering him in anticipation.
