It's no different this year. I think the clearest evidence of it is the abysmal showing in the champions league from the premier league teams this year.
As soon as Leicester dropped points, I knew we would as well. It's like we don't want to catch up to them. They have 12 points in 12 games and we're still 6 points behind them.
We should worry about even getting in the EL at this point, if we keep bottling games like this.
I mean, two of them are Liverpool/City, Tottenham did well in groups, we had an evenly matched group and we did decently well to get out. Europa usually has fairly easy groups.
3 were Europa League so its pretty easy to go through. Man City had a piss easy group and Liverpool is Liverpool. Tottenham and Chelsea actually did quite good by going through though.
Chelsea have been doing a West Ham for a while.
Your lot properly hate Spurs. I think Spurs players hate Chelsea too, but Chelsea players like Willian and Jorginho are properly frothing at the mouth with hatred.
I think it's much more simple than that if I'm honest. We just don't have any goalkeeping presence. We so often concede from set pieces because our opponents put it into the area that's most dangerous, but normally a waste of a ball because the keeper will come out and claim it.
There's more chance of Jorginho running faster than a referee than that happening.
Would also help if your starting keeper wasn't 38, short (for a keeper) and was deemed not good enough to be a second keeper in the premier league by City 2? years ago and is now starting for Chelsea.
We're horribly short in a few areas, but having big Willy as your starting keeper, with Kepa "no hands" Arizabalaga as your other option, is definitely the area we're shortest in. (And that's saying a lot, when you consider our second choice LB has scored more goals this calendar year than all three of our strikers combined...)
Genuinely top 3 in my least favourite teams to play. They could have 36 losses and I'd be confident in their only 2 wins of the season being against us.
Still time in this game though...hopefully can pull something out of our ass
As much as I like our youth players Frank shouldn't be sentimental about them. I would rather us buy Ake who at least has a bit of leadership quality to him and a good defender than have our academy grads like Tomori making mistakes after mistakes and getting a pass as they are our academy kids. There are too many average players in the team and other players are leaving it would be interesting what Frank would do. Willian ( whoever offered him a 2 year contract should be sacked) Barkley(should be sold), GK (kepa sh$t), Batshuayi, Willy, Giroud, Pedro, Giroud, Palmieri will all be either leaving or sold.Thats 8 players
Lol there was nothing he could do. Caballero looks silly but that’s because he hasn’t played competitively in so long. Most keepers wouldn’t even move. There was no way to save that.
Nobody has played well today. Even reliable Kovacic has been utter shit today. When Giroud missed that chance off the cross from Alonso, I knew this would happen
Not related to this goal but I was hoping a Bournemouth supporter could answer for me. What happened to David Brooks? I remember he was electric last year but hasn't played this year at all. Did he pick up a really serious injury or is it just a lot of small injuries that are keeping him out?
As a welshman, I want nothing more than for him to light up the league when he returns. All my relatives in Wales who watch him say he's a cracking talent, hopefully I can see it for myself soon!
Luton fans getting deja vu with this goal ha! Last season it seemed like Stacey was setting up this exact goal every game! Great to see him contributing at the top level.

How in the flying fuck are we 4th
Top 4 is lava
Bet your house on Everton winning lol
This but not ironically :(.
Ah shit here we go again
Brunoooo
Because we always lose at Goodison Park, this was a problem we had under Fergie
[удалено]
Could make a lot of money from betting on this shit. If we lose tomorrow I really regret not betting. Lol
Wont be for long, dont worry
Shhh don't jinx it
[удалено]
he meant we won't be 4th for long lol
[удалено]
so like last season
I'd say last year was worse. The football that was played then was a crime against humanity
The teams were also better and couldn’t really use injuries as an excuse
It's no different this year. I think the clearest evidence of it is the abysmal showing in the champions league from the premier league teams this year.
> maybe even 3rd To be honest Leicester have been in the choke party since the turn of the year
Best of the rest!
It’s hysterical really, just loads of flawed inconsistent teams giving flashes of hope then...BAM!
we had such a big lead over United/Spurs and now we're all within 4 points (with both United/Spurs yet to play)
Yeah if you lose and we win we go 4th on goal difference, so you know Everton are going to beat us tomorrow
Everton under Ancelotti are pretty scary. Away game too, gonna be tough for sure. Tottenham have Wolves too, we could get lucky as usual lol
[удалено]
Absolutely right. We’ve seen how poorly they’ve done in Europe the past few years
As soon as Leicester dropped points, I knew we would as well. It's like we don't want to catch up to them. They have 12 points in 12 games and we're still 6 points behind them. We should worry about even getting in the EL at this point, if we keep bottling games like this.
You guys dropping points also means that United wont win tomorrow
Premier League is horrible this year.
Rest of Europe should honestly be ashamed that all 7 of us got out the groups lol
> Europa League so its pretty easy to go through *Mikel Arteta dislikes this.*
> 3 were Europa League so its pretty easy to go through. Then why did you fail to go through if it is so easy?
Because we suck absolute ass.
[nuh-uh](https://i.imgur.com/WQm77_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium)
Yeah imagine Liverpool winning the league
Or maybe it's amazing?
Manager bounce in the first half of the season?
somehow snuck in last year too lol
Great start to the season. Since Mourinho joined Spurs Chelsea have had relegation form.
Except against spurs
Raised their game against us and then went back to normal
Chelsea have been doing a West Ham for a while. Your lot properly hate Spurs. I think Spurs players hate Chelsea too, but Chelsea players like Willian and Jorginho are properly frothing at the mouth with hatred.
Because no one wants it, and I guess it's now sinking into Lampard's Chelsea the same
You were playing well whilst everyone else was really shit, but now it would appear that you've lost form whilst everyone is getting better
Literally due to Tammy being on form for the first half of the season.
no one else wants it, hot potato hot potato.
We weren’t so injured, same can be said for Spurs and United though. Weird injury plagued season.
what arsenal fans asked for a decade plus
Not for much longer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg
No one wants Champions League then
Too risky to travel with the virus going around.
well 5th are getting champo aren’t they?
That’s reserved for Tottenham, who will clinch 5th but miss out when City’s ban is overturned, in the most Tottenham of occurrences
Jesus I hadn’t even thought of this. Feels almost inevitable now.
Sounds about right
I wouldn’t rely on that until it’s guaranteed after the appeal
Does anyone actually believe it's going to happen? Surely any punishment would be not be felt earlier than next year, with appeals and whatnot.
Until I hear a statement from UEFA or CAS that says the appeal has been upheld I’m not believing it
Europe is lava
Chelsea and losing to Bournemouth. Name a more iconic duo
Chelsea and conceding from corners
Chelsea and conceding*
Frank needs to get a specialized corners coach/analyst I guess. Its not like Chelsea don't have the physicality.
Ah that too. It’s a massive part of corners But that can be helped with performance analysis
(And that's saying a lot, when you consider our second choice LB has scored more goals this calendar year than all three of our strikers combined...)
london and corners
Chelsea and losing second half. \*9/10 PL managers recommends playing against Chelsea. >!\*Except Mou.!<
Us and losing after Chelsea drop points..
Genuinely top 3 in my least favourite teams to play. They could have 36 losses and I'd be confident in their only 2 wins of the season being against us. Still time in this game though...hopefully can pull something out of our ass
Not today
Bournemouth fucking hates Chelsea lmao
Same
Ake vengeance
Thank you Bournemouth, very cool
Man United legend.
And we aren’t even paying his wages. Top quality move from Woodward
Our best signing since Bruno Fernandes.
Actual bogeyteam. They could've been up by like 2 more as well.
How that was their 3rd shot on target. We could have been up by 3
Billing missed 2 sitters
Awful Tomori, just awful.
As much as I like our youth players Frank shouldn't be sentimental about them. I would rather us buy Ake who at least has a bit of leadership quality to him and a good defender than have our academy grads like Tomori making mistakes after mistakes and getting a pass as they are our academy kids. imagine thinking we'll do Bayern a 4-0 at their home ground lol
Who thought that?
Who thinks that?, show me one non twitter user who said that
Literally no one thinks that
It's from a FIFA19 Commentator
I actually cannot imagine that
i mean to be fair, 3-0 *is* the most dangerous lead.
what a turnaround bournemouth!
Top 4 is lava
Feels bad man.
bruh
define defending.
Off to the gym
Subscribe
Fuck me.
I do not understand Bournemouth. They look like a league two team some weeks, and a top six side others.
They just hate Chelsea.
hahahahahaua
Bournemouth or Barcelona?
yes.
They just look like Barcelona when they play Chelsea
Bournecelona
Bourne Mounich
How the fuck has this even happened I hate this team so much
Rubs hands like birdman
Horrible attempt by Chelsea goalie wtf
At this point I could do better and I'm 5 ft 6 inches.
I mean look how slow he reacts.. looks like he’s moving in slo-mo
Lol there was nothing he could do. Caballero looks silly but that’s because he hasn’t played competitively in so long. Most keepers wouldn’t even move. There was no way to save that.
[Yep](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/fbenr8/bournemouth_11_chelsea_lerma_55/fj3t7ty/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
FFS
No one saw that coming
Bournemouth save us pls
Pathetic
Chelsea. For fucks sake what are you doing
Chelsea need to realize they're playing Bournemouth and not prime AC Milan
LMAO
Remember when people were saying Tomori was better than Maguire?
Collapse
Poor.
Wtf is going on here? I mean, I know we give up goals to Bournemouth, but...
United player through and through
Ah shit here we go again
Now this is the Chelsea I know
Lol
Almost casual by King. And here I am doing uni work three miles from Vitality stadium instead of watching that glorious game.
no
There goes the 4 place
how important that Giroud miss at 1-0 looks now!
That defense is shocking. We're miserable without Rudiger.
sometimes I wish we kept Bulka :(
How has Billing been doing for bournemouth this season?
For fuck sake
HOW WHAT WHEN WHY
I swear Bournemouth vs Chelsea is always a good game? Maybe I'm just forgetting the bad ones.
Nope. All bad. Dont need to watch em
I swear to God that the last time i've saw Chelsea do a clean sheet their left back was Ashley Cole.
Chelsea's defence is so bad
Define *is*
What a touch by Billing
Chelsea are the Masters of shithousing in games they should win.
Trust Lampard guys.
Fucking hell chelsea is turning into arsenal
Fucking hell, you could drive a bus through Chelsea's defence, there are so many fucking gaps.
Lampard cannot organise a defence
How many fucking goals do we concede between 45-60mins. Its ridiculous.
Shambolic defending
My stream froze and it's 2-1 lol
Lmao haha
Does everyone linked with united suddenly become good?
Nobody has played well today. Even reliable Kovacic has been utter shit today. When Giroud missed that chance off the cross from Alonso, I knew this would happen
Fuck this shit. I need to prepare for that Applied Mechanics test
We are shite
Haha yes!
Champions league bound. Suck it man city.
JOSH KING IS A RED 🔴🔴🔴
Man Utd legend
Oh yes
Bournemouth becomes a super team when they face Chelsea.
Welp angryrantman it is! Will be waiting for his reaction
Still anyone think defense shouldn't be a priority? We definitely aren't 4th this season. Best we can hope for is 5th place and qualification for UCL.
Not related to this goal but I was hoping a Bournemouth supporter could answer for me. What happened to David Brooks? I remember he was electric last year but hasn't played this year at all. Did he pick up a really serious injury or is it just a lot of small injuries that are keeping him out?
Bad long term injury.
That is a shame, hope he comes back as good as he was. Last season I think he was your most exciting player personally.
As a welshman, I want nothing more than for him to light up the league when he returns. All my relatives in Wales who watch him say he's a cracking talent, hopefully I can see it for myself soon!
Forgot to bet Bournemouth ML given their love of playing Chelsea. Smh. What odds were they to win?
Surely Chelsea's officially Bournemouths Bi*ch
I wish i grew up supporting Barca
Thanks, Ziyech is crying
#Sigh
Tomori what the fuck are you doing. You left a massive hole behind you by trying to attack the ball there.
Luton fans getting deja vu with this goal ha! Last season it seemed like Stacey was setting up this exact goal every game! Great to see him contributing at the top level.
Reading fans reminded how much of an idiot Jaap Stam was for letting him go.
Was at the game and that billing turn had the crowd creaming out loud.
Thank you King, I love you.
Lerma is somewhat forgiven too
