He hasnt scored scored in the international break either and played really poorly. Im sure (and I really hope) he will come back but the truth is he has been really bad (for his standards) since the WC
Would you say it's fair to compare the Polish national team with Barcelona? Lewandowski has never really excelled with Poland anyway, so no surprises there.
Oh but he has. He's easily the best player ever to play in the Polish team - both in terms of "eye test" and numbers. Has carried a lot of deadweight in our team. In Barca hes a star, but hes playing with other stars. In Poland, he needs to carry the team almost on his own. Plus different playstyles obviously. Lately he has been less impactful but he has had very good campaigns in the past.
I mean he's obviously by far the best player in Poland, but he's not expected to score every international game as Poland isn't a great power like Barca.
When they're playing a team like Albania, yes he's expected to score. At the very least he's expected to create clear chances, even against better teams. Poland are no Barcelona, but it's not like they're a bunch of Sunday-leaguers either. With guys like Zielinski, Swiderski and Szymański in support, it's fair to expect better performances than what we saw during this last window.
OTOH It may just be his age showing at this point, which would be more understandable.
Who wanted to make him sound like a failure? Over a month is exactly correct. I really don't understand this tendency to read every fact as an opinion with a hidden agenda. "Hasn't scored in three games." Maybe that sounds bad to someone and they'd say it's not fair because he didn't get good chances. When can you express a cold fact just as a fact?
Coz he’s been injured all season since before the WC? He’s playing half fit even now. That’s like Saying like Ansu Fati Wunderkid reign lasted few months, leaving out context of his injuries

Bounced it over the CB wtf
Hit it into his own left foot for that damn💀
Thierry Henry-esque or Zidane-esque. Can’t remember which one😅
So tired of just scoring he assisted himself
[удалено]
Lmao no
It's definitely not on purpose.
Lewandowski made it look easy
It looks like he accidentally hits it with his rightfoot onto his own leftfoot which causes the bounce. We take those tho.
Lewaozil totally meant that.
Lmao yh the other angle sold him out
I feel like he hasn’t been on the scoresheet in a while.. we take it!
Three games
He hasnt scored in over a month if you want to say it in terms of time. Last time on 23rd of February
It's not really fair to count days passed when there's been an international break in there.
5th_Deathsquad is a big fat phony

I don't understand what is unfair about a factual statement. It's just a date. Or do you read some kind of subtext into that measurement?
A three game drought doesn't sound that bad, so "over a month" is a welcome hyperbole if you want to make Lewandowski sound like a failure.

He just makes non chances goals
For real. I don't know how this ball has passed through those opponents
Araujo assistant!
Finally, my man is back
He was always very active on Bayern-Borussia gameday, maybe that's why? :)
Bayern Munich 5 - 2 Borussia Lewandowski' AFT
Lewagoalski
Just give Araujo everything.
Lets goooo he finally scores
Tbh i talked a lot of shit about Lewy but this is a class goal.
Oof that finish was special
Tbh if that finish was in fifa, I would be like - bullshit scripting
Never said a bad word about Lewandowski
Benzema pichichi reign lasted one year lmfao
Managed to sneak one in between world class competition being there.
gotta love how he snuck in that last ucl too
I actually didn't love that at all.
Marca really stopped caring about pichichi and Zamora all of a sudden
Coz he’s been injured all season since before the WC? He’s playing half fit even now. That’s like Saying like Ansu Fati Wunderkid reign lasted few months, leaving out context of his injuries
Nah he’s just finished
Elcheman
That name is already taken by someone else
No, Messi was Eibarman
😂
Let's fuckin goooooo
Breaking his goal drought, love to see it!
Man needed that. Let's hope this is the turning point since WC
Finally the drought is over
Lewangoalskiii
Elche man is back
I bet he learned this trick shot from Muller
relegation teams and lewa, it was over before it started
Lewa just means the smallest of chances are goals
Love this man
Classical Leva goal
LewandUziVert
Love seeing the man score goals wherever he is
