Rumors are Gabriel is still celebrating the penalty being overturned

[deleted]

The difference between the teams was simple: Kevin and Halland. Arsenal are fantastic in how they play and approached the game, but in games like that when both teams can’t catch a break sadly you need magicians to have inspired moments. Jesus is Arsenal’s version, they need him back to complete the season. City were lucky to have two cheat codes when they needed it the most.

HelloMiaw

It is hard to beat Man City since so many Arsenal injured. But, Arsenal played good. Go go Gunners!

BritishBatman

"so many" is 2?

fuqqkevindurant

If 2 players being hurt is enough for an excuse then Im pretty sure the math checks out to say that we're undefeated for the last 2 years.

Nutthisaccount

Now we got a three way race. Absolute moments if united win it somehow.

Mom_said_I_am_cute

Would rather see United win it again than City, tbh, if Arsenal fumbles (and they look like they're well on their way, altho I hope thy get their shit together and win the title).

Nutthisaccount

From a neutral standpoint (though Rooney is one of my fav player) I'm fine with both Arsenal or United winning it. Both are clowned to death, both fanbase deserves a break. Though I can only imagine the heartbreak if Arsenal do choke ala Spurs. Like, imagine, before the worldcup they're absolute juggernaut, only to lose it on the final stretch. Though it's to early to say such things of course.

Comicksands

Arsenal will finish 1st or 3rd there’s no in between. As for us I’m happy with top 4 and a cup trophy tbh

Mom_said_I_am_cute

I do have a preference for Arsenal, they are my favorite Prem team, plus my best friend is an Arsenal fan, but I would in no way mind United winning it after so many years. Sure I would prefer Arsenal, but tbh anyone but Spurs and City winning it is fine with me.

Nutthisaccount

You don't have to do Kane like that hahahaha. Yeah, I think for the sake of the guys at AFTV Arteta and co have to seal the deal.

danuffer

The better team today lost. They couldn’t finish and City were ruthless with their opportunities. I still expect City to lose 15 points alaJuve however.

Nutthisaccount

Yeah. The match is a nail biter for sure. But that's what seperate a good club from a winner. The ability to grab opportunity to win. A club can create 100 chances but can still lose to a club with only one if they fail to convert any. Football is cruel like that. I highly doubt City would face any consequences aside from a slap on the wrist fine. Though I do hope they at least would throw a transfer embargo or something lol.

Unhip

All PL teams have slumps during the season. I wouldn’t count Arsenal out yet.

Legendarybbc15

Arsenal did dominate the ball tho

BritishBatman

All that possession and Ederson didn't even make a save

Rankedcompetitivedad

Right after full time I get a call from the alarm company and had to drive to work to sort that. Proper insult to injury!

sweatymeatball

Lots of disappointed Arsenal fans in the comments but this is far from over for them yet to be honest. Anything can happen this season. Yeah city outplayed you but if you can pick yourselves up and find form again the title could just as easily be yours as citys. You have the game in hand and I still feel city will drop points.

TalkingGibberish

Arsenal played great but need to be more clinical. They also got tired around 75mins - they're not able for the intensity of 90mins vs City

TheLamesterist

This game > PSG v Bayern by miles, and literally best game this year so far.

rtgh

It was definitely better than the poor match last night, but it really wasn't great

TomShoe

Idk there was loads of drama, loads of goals, both teams were up for it, tactically interesting but not so perfect that it was just a chess match. Idk about best game of the season, but it was a damn entertaining match.

Legendarybbc15

Arsenal vs United is clear

_deusexplatypus

LOOKS LIKE BRAUTS BACK ON THE MENU BOIYS

njpc33

Arsenal giving off strong Tottenham 16/17 vibes......

CarlosMagnusen24

More like liverpool 2018-19 but without the ucl

ChrisHansen-Official

I missed you, goalkeeper Dias

Fit_Resort_4111

Just need to win at the Etihad. No reason why we can't if we don't gift 2 goals

kynted-Inc

Without individual errors this game is hard to judge. You gave City 2, Ederson gave Arsenal 1. The Etihad game will be interesting.

Fit_Resort_4111

With any luck Partey and Jesus back too. Not that Jorginho was bad, but training all week to play with Partey and losing him on the day is never easy

kynted-Inc

Yeah that definitely is a factor. Jorginho did well in his first start, but Partey in there is still better. My question is will Jesus get the same chances that Nketiah got today? And if so, will he be able to put those chances away better?

Fit_Resort_4111

Partey is irreplaceable to how we play. I'm not sure if Jesus is actually going to net the chances Eddie got, but the energy he brings to the team is a huge factor, Eddie is an adequate backup but the style of play has been shifting since the world cup with him starting, we aren't creating nearly as much across 90 mins. Interesting to think about but I think those two elevate us to a more comparable level to City. If you'd ask any Arsenal fan after 10 games who the irreplaceable players are, Saka, Jesus and Partey are the standouts.

kynted-Inc

No Odegaard? From my point of view much of your creation comes from his actions on and off the ball, at least today. But for sure the other 3 are equally important.

Fit_Resort_4111

Odegaard has been immense yeah, you're probably right to include him. I don't see any signs Fabio Vieira is capable of filling his boots either. Just need to respond vs Villa, we've forgotten how to win now. It's the make or break reaction time, let's see how it pans out. I'd love to match City until April and have a proper ding dong at the Etihad, but looks as though we are suffering at the moment.

SacredEmuNZ

Man didn't realize but this game also kinda puts UTD in the conversation

Dom_33

Thank you for inviting us to the table.

Blanxart

City final boss fight

Themnor

I have yet to watch an Arsenal game this season where they're done well if Saka is contained, and Ake seems to be his kryptonite. Nketiah is a really good player, but the attack suffers when Saka is forced to stay out wide.

TheLamesterist

GAME OF THE SEASON, it was seriously nerve racking as hell, it was a REAL improvement over the FA Cup game whish was real boredom, I was on edge the whole time and I can't believe we won, I'm glad I did bet on Arsenal winning lol the adrenaline rush was REAL.

thommotron10

You haven’t watched many games this year have you?

TheLamesterist

Been watching an average of 1.5 games on almost a daily basis, sometimes I'd see 3 whole games, one after another, I've seen a TON of games since the start of this year and this is the best I've seen yet, no competition.

Trxnquill

Sods law really. We play City the first time we are in a form slump all season and we have to play them without our 2 best players. What can you do. Just another 'what if' season for Arsenal fans to look back on.

Far-Objective-181

2 best players? Saka is your best player

Trxnquill

Partey and Jesus are our best and most important players. It's not even close. Saka gets fouled out of most games these days anyway.

Far-Objective-181

The disrespect to Saka from Arsenal fans is hard to believe

Trxnquill

There is no disrespect at all. Sakas by far my favourite Arsenal player the last few years. He's great. But he is more easily replaced in our starting 11 than Partey or Jesus. Especially Partey. Our results without Partey speak for themselves. We never perform when he's out. Simple as that.

Far-Objective-181

"It's not even close" Massive disrespect from you and Jesus has only played a handful of games for you.

Trxnquill

Yeah and when exactly did Arsenal swap from fighting for 5th place to topping the table for half a season? When Jesus played up front for us. He is vital to our team and its painfully obvious since the restart.

fuqqkevindurant

So your team hasn't been struggling without Jesus, but Jesus is still the reason the team went from 5th to top and nobody else matters as much as him?

Trxnquill

Partey is the most important. Jesus after. We absolutely have struggled since the restart without Jesus. Nketiah did well in a couple games but other than that he's struggled to have any impact and our wide players are struggling without Jesus' link up play. It's very obvious if you've been watching Arsenal all season as I have.

Far-Objective-181

And Arsenal wouldn't struggle with Saka out?

Trxnquill

Absolutely, but not to nearly the same degree. Especially now we have Trossard.

BlackGiroud

Saka is our most dynamic player but Partey is our most important player. Jesus is probably right there with Saka as far as dynamic goes.

Far-Objective-181

No Saka is your most important player

gullymangulliver

Saka is our best player. Partey is our most important player. Not many players in the world can do what he does for us

Far-Objective-181

Not many players in the world can do what saka does. Lots of players do what partey does.

Loud-Caregiver6566

5 defeats all season, all when Partey isn’t on the pitch. Partey is arsenals most important player. “Lots of players do what Partey does” - complete nonsense

Far-Objective-181

"5 defeats all season, all when Partey isn’t on the pitch" And? They might have lost these if partey was on the pitch, it's impossible to know so it's not a good argument.

gullymangulliver

As someone who has been at most home games this season I respectfully disagree

sangpls

My dream scenario is Arsenal bottles this season but City gets the title taken away later cause of their finances shit

GormlessGourd55

I don't think this title would even be at risk in that scenario. The investigation was from like 2011 to a few years ago. Not that any titles will be getting stripped anyway.

fucklti

And we win

KloppTheUnyielding

Don't fret lil Arse buddies. One day in the post-world world, the FA and PL will come down from their Venusian orbital manses and tell us all of the slap on the wrist they gave City for financial impropriety.

darthrevan22

Gotta love all the EPL fans trying to banter Arsenal while their team (unless you’re a City fan) sits way beneath them in the table lmao. City deserved the win, Arsenal got thoroughly outplayed yet again. Four straight horrendous games. Gotta love making it through the “tough” part of the schedule only to completely capitulate during an easier (at least on paper) stretch.

fundingsecured07

You can give shit but can't take them eh? What a fragile soul. Keep searching for those excuses that help you sleep at night.

darthrevan22

Bahahaha what the hell is a Spurs fan doing here talking shit? Lmfao.

fundingsecured07

At least I'm not a glory hunting Arsenal plastic... "Darth Revan" No contest here mate Spurs are absolute bottlers. That doesn't mean Arsenal can't be bottlers as well.

Far-Objective-181

Arsenal fans have talked shit all season so of course they get banter their way

SacredEmuNZ

I mean do I need an EPL badge to give them shit? Are you not allowed to give shit to any team above you in the table? Where do I register for the banter badge?

darthrevan22

Do whatever you want lol. I’m just laughing at all the premier league fans whose teams sit below Arsenal trying to call them a banter club when their own club is in a worse state. If Arsenal is a banter club because they’ve blown the lead to City, yet they’re significantly better than whoever your (ubiquitously) club is in the PL, what does that make your club?

SacredEmuNZ

Clubs that have won way more in recent years are obviously going to mock Arsenal melting again.

Practicalmattle

Arsenal bottle it again, is anyone surprised? At least Arsenal fans can be consoled with the fact they'll finally get a top 4 finish for the first time in a decade.

Loud-Caregiver6566

I’m looking at the gap between us and spurs thinking surely not… but knowing us the past 10+ years it wouldn’t surprise me!

johnny_crow21

Counting victory before earning it got arsenal in this mess.

Frosty-Reply

Man City fan talking about maths and getting them into messes. The irony.

johnny_crow21

Lol the irony!

Affectionate-Hunt217

Arsenal fans, it’s the hope that kills

ferretchad

Aye, England at the World Cup was the same. Start of the season, if you'd told me we'd be level with City with a game in hand I'd have bitten your arm off

Affectionate-Hunt217

Yeah but we’ve come so far, this is the first time city have gone top all season, if it was neck in neck all season, but we were ahead all season, it is what it is, we still got at hand and another game with them all is not lost

TheLamesterist

WHAT A GAME.

Prestigious_Storm_10

I think the hard thing is seeing the countless mistakes that keep happening over the course of the 4 games. After watching the first half of the season and knowing what arsenal players are capable of to then having to watch 3-4 players make the same passes to the same place which all lead to the same result of loosing possession. over and over and over. Always back this team and there young and will most definitely learn from this but man I didn’t need to feel this shit mid work week 😩

Backha

We are really poor against any kind of high press. Zinchenko runs off into the middle of the park as soon as Gabriel gets the ball 2v1 regardless if Xhaka manages to fill him in or not. Really juvenile performance in every goal we conceded. It will get fixed with time but it was very frustrating to watch. There were a lot of bad passes from midfield too. I can't see us getting anything from Etihad with a game like this one. Having said that, it only really felt like this in this game. Hopefully we can play more composed against other teams and keep a high position.

thisismyname03

Mental midgets in defense. The time I’ve spent yelling at the TV to give the fucking ball away while 3 City players are closing down our defense…. We think we’re fucking cute well look what happens when you wanna be cute. A team with full confidence in their abilities is going to exploit you while you play touchbutt in your third like that. Completely crumble like a soft fucking cookie.

Hoe_Bogan_5422

Yeeees let the hate flow through you!!

Sheikhabusosa

Haaland is so funny. 26 premier league goals and I can’t picture any of them

Noserub

Huh?

as_ninja6

Yeah only one I can remember is against Dortmund trivela assist goal.

Craft-Superb

Just think of a bunch of tap ins

adamt123

Can't say that after that goal

cjonoski

So I guess Gary Neville was right

SacredEmuNZ

I mean honest question, even before Everton did anyone think they'd actually do it?

michaelosz

Yes. History tells nobody bottled this before

CarlosMagnusen24

Liverpool were 10 points ahead in 2018-19.

michaelosz

Arsenal were 1st with 50 points in 19 games. Nobody bottled that before

CarlosMagnusen24

Liverpool were first with 51.

Round-Ad5063

I did

AlfaG0216

There’s no way city slip up now. They had their little blip but it also coincided with Arsenal having a blip themselves. Difference is I can see Arsenal continuing to drop in form while city recovered very quickly and will now go on their customary 12 game winning run to wrap the title up in April and then focus on champions league. Oh well.

Legendarybbc15

This does not slip now!

rtgh

I still haven't recovered from the time we overhauled City and closed an 8 point gap, only to then go ahead by 8 points and still lose the title on goal difference

Hoe_Bogan_5422

The best season of all time haha

ExactLetterhead9165

I know what you mean, but I've already heard that about 2 or 3 times this season, and they've gone on to drop points shortly after

AlfaG0216

Yeah but this is what city do. Feb-Apr they just gonna mad run and win 12-13 games in a row.

ExactLetterhead9165

I guess we'll find out. But I heard that after they put 6 past United, then again after they beat Liverpool and again after they beat Spurs 4-2. It could happen but nothing is guaranteed in this sport

johnny_crow21

All that proves is that it took a bit, but they were all right in the end :D

Sheikhabusosa

1 point out of 9 for Arsenal in their last 3. Mind you they dont have the fixture congestion that the likes of United, City & Spurs have either. Potentially the first side to bottle the PL after reaching 50 points first in a season.

SacredEmuNZ

Yeah the fact they are now talking about city's money is pretty telling. They bottled it.

fundingsecured07

If Tottenham, United, or Chelsea blew a 10 point lead and lost 3-1 at home against City, Arsenal fans would be going OFF about bottling this or that Season's not over but Arsenal fans really need to check themselves Just saying the truth as I see it

bruiser95

The fact we even lead with our main striker injured for months and a paper thin squad was a feat in itself

Fit_Resort_4111

There's 17 games left don't see how anyone can mention bottling. Not to mention the game in hand

fundingsecured07

I'm just saying man. When Tottenham was 1st by Christmas with Jose and massively bottled the weeks following, we didn't hear the end of it from Arsenal fans about "how we crumble under pressure". Arsenal fans (in general, not all) love to talk shit and love to mock others for bottling but can't seem to take any banter back.

IbrarN

Because Spurs fans have been desperate for the world to acknowledge this imaginary “power shift” when they’ve not actually won anything so them continuing to bottle it in the league like they have been for I don’t know 60 years or something now will always be an opportunity for y’all to get shit on. Arsenal fans in general didn’t talk shit on all the occasions that Liverpool lost the title to City in the recent past though because we knew that Liverpool were a great side playing great football. It’s Spurs fans need to exaggerate the “success” of their team in the last six or so years that gets them bantered endlessly.

fundingsecured07

Mate I'll be the first to tell you - Spurs are absolute bottlers. No fucking contest here my friend. That being said, isn't true that over the past few seasons, Spurs played better than Arsenal and was higher in the league table? In fact to me, it's Arsenal fans who always shove "bottler" insults because they have nothing to say about that. I'll be objective - there is no "power shift" and Arsenal is a more successful club. But that doesn't mean we don't have any rights to talk shit either.

Reagansmash1994

Yeah but it’s more funny when it’s happens to the professional bottle jobs innit. No one expected us to even be in a sniff of the title by this point, and it’s not like we are out of the race yet. Bit premature is all. Youngest squad in the league having a bit of a wobble is to be expected, just as spurs bottling everything ever is. It’s basically a science.

fundingsecured07

Right... but Tottenham's 2016/17 squad was expected to challenge for the title right?

Reagansmash1994

Where’d I say that? I didn’t make up the spurs stereotype.

fundingsecured07

I'm saying that for some reason, when we had a young squad with an avg age of 23-24 and competed for 2nd/3rd place, we "came 3rd in a two horse race" who bottled away a golden generation. Whereas, Arsenal fans seem to hide behind the "youngest squad in the league" fact to escape any fault or blunders lol

Reagansmash1994

Difference is the level being competed at though? There’s basically zero room for error these days. It’s been seen multiple times in the last few years that even near perfect seasons, you can still be inched out by City. When teams are recording around 50 points at the halfway mark multiple seasons in a row, it’s clear that competition is tight. Moreover saying someone has bottled it before the league is up is premature. You literally did bottle it because it has happened, therefore worth bantering. Could we bottle it? Sure. Have we bottled it, no. Bantering us when we smashed you home and away and are clear of you this season is funny nonetheless. Personally I’m just happy to be in it. Top 4 was the minimum for me and I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

Fit_Resort_4111

Bottling is losing a solid lead in the last few games, not halfway through a season. Man City won't go on their usual win streaks they're not good enough. It doesn't seem as Arsenal are either but we will see. If our defenders stop gifting results nothing to say we can't get back on track. All it takes is a win at the Etihad to flip again

fundingsecured07

Mate like I said - season's not over. Fully understand that Arsenal can still go ahead and win the title. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Fit_Resort_4111

What about the hypocrisy after 5 games when people said Arsenal can't keep it up. Funny now it's a bottle job if we don't win the league. Its all to play for

CarlosMagnusen24

At this rate they may have been right

Trickybuz93

8 point lead to tied on points with a game in hand 😂

FaithfulKind201

Beating City isn't for everyone ig

infidel11990

Araenal losing 11 in a row to City in the league. While City hasn't even scored a goal at the new Spurs stadium. Bonkers.

Good_Kev_M-A-N_City

Arsenal fans cleared out the stadium quick

FAM

DatDominican

De Bruyne giving haaland instructions on how to react to others players runs shows that he still has another gear to reach in the squad

CarlosMagnusen24

People seem to forget he's 22

StinkyWedge

I mean, yeah? The kid has been here for a few months - despite his already grand accomplishments, I fear what Haaland could become with experience, mentorship and a competent team around him. Just imagine Haaland with 5 more years of experience?

DatDominican

I think we’ll see him still score plenty but be much more fluid in attack. Right now he has the most chemistry with players that can play direct but we’ll probably see him play more 1-2s with players like Mahrez , Silva, etc. In the beginning of the season he and Foden had golden opportunities for each other but had different ideas and didn’t find each other and I see that being less of an issue next season. This is of course ignoring the reactionary “he’s making city worse” hot takes

scruffle

Think that’s it for the league for us. I wouldn’t go as far as to say this is a collapse, but dropping 8 points over 3 games is just too much in this league, with city nipping at our heels - I think it’s over.

Fit_Resort_4111

Literally have a game in hand on them, level points. It's a big hit, but if we can bounce back it's still in hands

scruffle

Just don’t see it happening. We had a commanding lead and threw it, now they’ll forever be within 3-5 points of first and I just think city will make less mistakes and can afford more injuries through the season.

ExactLetterhead9165

A good performance from City but fuck me if we didn't make sure to help them out with some ridiculous decisions and mistakes

rim261

Any other interesting football games today? /s

EyePiece108

Arsenal made mistakes and got punished. That's what Champions do.

The-Formula

That was a nervous performance. What a terrible 2nd half

EPICKID143

we were absolutely brilliant second half that akanji sub was genius

limpoc

I guess Jorginho playing pretty well is a small silver lining for Arsenal. Less reliant on Partey than previously thought?

odinseye97

City making an absolute mockery of football

LordTales

Cry bitch. Keep employing your rapist.

lingmaker

Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

thisismyname03

Kinda odd comment considering the massive human rights violations from the people that own City.

Reagansmash1994

They’d clearly rather be employed by despots than employ rapists. Weird hill to die on.

LordTales

Kinda odd comment considering one of your sponsors denies the genocide in Rwanda ever happening.

thisismyname03

Are you typing this on an iPhone, too? Shall we just go down the list of bad things humans do?

LordTales

Nah it's an Android sadly. Though that was kind of my point tbh, very much pot calling kettle black.

thisismyname03

But…you’re the one that started it? If you wanna talk about one club doing one bad thing, then can you also address all the other bad things from everyone else? “The pot calling the kettle black”…. I’m not sure you understand what that means.

LordTales

I didn't start it, the other guy did. What other reason would he seriously have for saying about Man City what he did.

Craft-Superb

League is over. Sorry arsenal but city are relentless I can’t see arsenal getting the same amount or more points by the end of the season

Trickybuz93

It feels like that time of the season when City go on their ridiculous run

Acceptable-Lemon-748

It's hilarious because a few weeks ago Pep was doing his "leagues gone, CL is what we want anyway" and then they just quietly went about catching up

guy_incognito_mode

In the end, Arsenal couldn’t be arsed trying to beat City

SacredEmuNZ

Arsenal fans are an interesting demographic, most are 25-35 range and while they'll tell you otherwise, most followed Arsenal after or during the invincibles season. So essentially they are gloryhunters who never get paid off.

sanchezil

All over this match thread trolling haha got to respect the grind

SacredEmuNZ

I'm getting some good bites lol

sanchezil

Looool

thisismyname03

Can you source your random statement of demography?

SacredEmuNZ

Yes

Strider_21

Any source for that or are you just making stupid stuff up?

SacredEmuNZ

Yes

bruiser95

I also like to make armchair broad sweeping generalizations

Acceptable-Lemon-748

WHt kind of lazy cunt sweeps from an armchair?

SacredEmuNZ

It's a football forum, that's every second comment, and if you don't you're lying.

Kneepi

I'm a glory hunter too, it's just been 25 years of misery.

Sheikhabusosa

Assna just had to get a draw and keep the distance, but Arteta flew too close to the sun

Acceptable-Lemon-748

>but Arteta flew too close to the sun He just couldn't stop flapping his arms

singhsrb

There is still a chance for Arsenal to finish 5th spectacularly. Emery masterclass coming up next.

rim261

Good ebening

kwhicks

GGz someday you gotta take it on the chin. Eddie miss two wide open headers, missing an obvious square to Martinelli, Tomi handing city the first goal, Gabriel the second. That’s how ya lose

No-Rooster-

Yep not everyone on the team is good enough to play how Arteta wants. I expect in time and with the right players Arsenal will come really good.

kwhicks

Missing 2 key players really hurt today, but doesn’t excuse the wide open misses and legit easy turnovers for their first 2. We still have a game in hand, but boy there is a lot of ball to go

RayQBadman

Arsenal meltdown. Lovely

emanresuyraropmet

This is why we can't have nice things.

FaithfulKind201

Didn't think they'd start bottling this early tbh

ProjectZues

Spuds fan talking about bottling

Trickybuz93

They know the feeling

fundingsecured07

So are Spuds the only team who can bottle? Fk off mate

ProjectZues

Have a rest lad

fundingsecured07

Oh I'm having a great rest lad you just have to learn how to give and take banters

ProjectZues

You’re the one telling people fuck off mate lol

RawrItsMatty

If anything that makes him more experienced no?

Mick4Audi

Arsenal are 2-5 since signing Jorginho

IJHerbert

Chelsea masterclass, infiltrating the enemy to sabotage allowing them to finish above them!

Dilson99

That De Bruyne finish was crazy.

DonteDante

What a match...this is why football is the beautiful game

Affectionate-Hunt217

Or the bought game?

redrumreturn

How much money have arsenal spent?

Affectionate-Hunt217

Nothing anywhere next to City Chelsea United, our closest would be Liverpool

redrumreturn

You spent more money than city this year. You bid 100 million on a player 2 weeks ago. Spare me the sob story

Affectionate-Hunt217

Also just so I get this off my chest, you’ve cheat financially for a decade and a half, and the latest numbers about your revenues that came out are laughable at best, somehow and someway City made more money than Real Madrid? Even though they have something that City will never have? Since you are city fan you are probably new to this so let me tell you what it is, History and Prestige and an actual global fan base that wasn’t bought, Madrid have 4 times your fans on social media, and also won the Champions league last season which means they made more money than you guys, and still somehow made overall less revenue, I wish your club gets dragged down to the bottom with all the financial doping allegations but we all know Lawyers speak and you got out of it before even though everyone knew what you were doing and you’ll get out of it again because you can afford the best

Affectionate-Hunt217

When you build a team over a couple of years like City have done, when Pep came and they lost the title in spectacular fashion in 2016, he went into overdrive and spent like 200m on defenders alone, so don’t come to me now and cry about how Arsenal have spent more than City, we had to play catch up, City literally spent the 100m you are talking about on a part time bench player Grealish and now he’s showing why he’s a starter, but at best last season he was a sub, Kevin Phillips who played for the first time in god knows how long cost 45m, that’s how much our best midfielder cost or even way more, Haaland was reported at 51m but they had to pay off his agent & dad and probably they are paying him an outrageous weekly wage which Arsenal can just dream about, the truth of the matter is that if Sheikh Mansour had chosen another “play thing” let’s say Bolton, you are pathetic club would be playing in the 3rd division you know it and I know it, so don’t come to now and show self righteous when the only thing special about your club is your owned by an oil state that could’ve chosen any club to buy

redrumreturn

I don't support Man City. I don't support any English team. I just find it laughable yous all complain about money when you have a billionaire owner and throw money around like it's nothing
