Better than his other appearances. Held the ball well , made some decent plays. He doesn't look completely gelled yet and chemistry between players need to improve. He needs to put the ball in slightly quicker too

Decent, was tough against such a defensive team. Every time he got the ball there were 8-11 Newcastle players in the box. Ultimately however I feel he's being played out of position, him switching to his right foot was wasting precious time allowing defenders to regroup. If he and Greenwood swapped positions I'm sure he'd do better.

I feel for Rashy. If Ole can manage him and Sanchos time it will work. The real question is where does Martial fit. Once Rashy is back there will be no room for him. Minimal time as a sub at best. Ronaldo and Cavani will hold the front, Greenwood/Sancho/Lingard have the right, then Rashford/Sancho on the left. Definitely a tricky situation indeed. 🤔

I'm delighted we have so many options. Rashford was poor last season, Martial was awful, and Greenwood started poorly before upping his game in the second half of the season. Personally, I want there to be competition. I want players to be chosen based on form and merit; and let those who underperform either up their game or sit out. That's how we'll get the best out of this squad imo.

Gotta remember he dealt with a lingering injury all season also. Once he gets back from his surgery and hits his stride he will be an animal on the left side. 🔥
