Few things: I love the font, it has a 2000-2010 Madrid Vibes. I think the colors and accents fit very well with the modern Madrid style. The kit looks very clean and it feels pretty much what you’d expect from the club. Let’s remember that it’s not the legendary kit that makes the season legendary, but it’s the legendary season that makes the kit legendary. This kit will only be remembered as good as our next season.

It's bittersweet seeing Marcelo wearing the new kit, knowing he won't be here next year to wear it on the pitch. But still he's smiling and joking. I've criticized him in recent years which all feels wrong now. I'm gonna miss him. And what way to go out, winning our 34th title as a captain.

There is nothing decided yet. But I think he’s staying.

Well well well. Looks like I’m buying one. I may wear for the finals but I’m superstitious. I have the all white Y3 I haven’t worn yet too.

I swear every year I think “this doesn’t look good” seeing the new kit. But by the end of the season, I’d be absolutely in love with it. Finally it dawned on me: it’s never about the design for me, it’s our players fighting to the last minute wearing them that makes the kits look so damn good!
