I think that coincides with the team being shit. If his partners at cb aren’t playing well, puts more pressure on him. If the mids aren’t playing well, less options for him to pass to. If the forwards can’t receive the long ball, less likely he’ll pass it away. All leads to second guessing himself, which leads to mistakes. No confidence, no good.
