Thought everyone done a job today, thought maxi was good just as a selfish opinion miss the taking on more of players but his link up with Isak was great, knew when to let him go, missed big Joe but that can't be helped, midfield just looked a bit open at times but it was that kind of game, think the pope decision was right, to me it looked like jimenez threw himself into pope but at same time you can see them given, but HOWAY ! We beat forrest on Friday and suddenly it's a whole different end to the season ! And just to end this drunken message, I adore Miggy
I thought to myself as I was watching that Maxi put in what I thought was a mature performance. I'm sure they have been working on his game, as in playing in team mates but yes maybe he was a little bit too conservative in regards to taking on players, if he gets the balance right he will be unplayable! Played well though
Totally agree with what you say about the supposed penalty too. Especially when you see it in slow motion, I dont know how the tv panel were bleating on like it was an obvious penalty.
Will preface this by saying I've rarely seen a game where every random deflection/bounce and overall "ball luck" was almost entirely against us.
So it was amusing that the winner came via a deflection and Pope could easily have gone, maybe these things do balance out?
We missed Big Joe driving us forward, it forces Bruno to play further back and he wasn't as influential imo.
Pope gave everyone a few heartattacks and now looks nervous. Doubt you're training it out of him so perhaps give everyone a breather by not using him as much as a sweeper keeper but that'll unbalance the team.
Tripps was playing well until the sniper got his boot, did impressively to come back from that.
Isak is a revelation up front and starting him fired up Wilson. ASM had one of his over-complicated games.
If anything we look a little light at DMC/6 so as much as we need Maddison to unlock the front door, need a presence further back to solidify us.
The small minority of fuckers here throwing Trippier under the bus when he was the 2nd option for man of the match can get fucked.
Delighted with that. This was a huge 3 points. With Casemiro getting a red today it means we could really get a good haul going into the break.
Great sub to bring on Almiron.
He looked class and should have had a goal and assist.
It was a must win today and we've done it, really hope we get some confidence from that.
Willock motm for me, brilliant game from him. Quality from Isak today as well and ASM.
[KC and the Sunshine Band - Give it Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeqtAB1WgEw)
Or [Primal Scream's Moving on Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnkjvECEQr4)?
This may be a bit harsh but I was looking to see how Callum tested this cameo.
Have to say when the roles were reversed Isak seemed much more involved and spirited in his cameos.
You mean when they didn’t allow Nick pope to trip someone in the box without getting anything on the ball?
I think this tree has allowed play to go on more than most refs in premiership
Clear dive. Tim Howard was wetting his pants about how Pope should have been sent off because there was "contact" , and he'd been sent off for it once but contact doesn't make you fall over like a sack of shit, cheating does. Graeme Lee Socks to his credit called it out for what it was.
I know, “wasting a few seconds there drying the ball” I can’t remember the last time I saw someone take a throw-in when they didn’t dry the ball on their shirt beforehand.
Aye after the game Howe said he hasn't trained all week and worked hard to even get out there. Marginally concerning considering Isak can't play the full 90 in our demanding system apparently.
Made some good runs, good passes, couple of niggly tackles, didn't stop all game, few good crosses. Not a 10/10 performance but definitely had a good game for us
What good runs/ passes?
He ran a lot I’ll give you that but often didn’t move onto the next man on the press which effected us.
Also He bottled a tackle late on which would have had us in on goal, broke down at least 5 of our attacks including taking a shot which was pretty much a pass back to the keeper, put in shit crosses in good positions. Dribbled the ball out of play on one attack. Slowed down when played in as well. 5/10 at best. He’s the flavour of the month because of clapping against Southampton and he’s shit.
It's weird considering he was a lonely voice on Sky for backing Newcastle during the Ashley years. It felt like it was just Carra and Jake Humphrey for years.
He was mobile in the whole front of attack, crossed several times from the right, supported many of the Isak runs… i think I’ve seen enough useless performances from the right wing this year to identify one that isn’t.
How did he support Isaks runs? He didn’t burst past and take defenders out of the way, he just moved forward that’s not supporting
The one time he got in behind he slowed down, he broke down numerous attacks of ours with bad balls, dribbling it out of play and passing it back to their keeper.
In our press on the left he often followed Jonny rather than moving up when we pressed on that side, and when he moved to the right he bottled a challenge which could have had us through if he’d won it.
And I know the goal wasn’t his fault but look where he is compared to his man
I'm not saying it's related but wor lass has been out this afternoon. She came back 10 minutes into second half. She's just gone to put some washing on a minute before Miggy's goal. Anyway, she's not allowed back in the living room.

Deflected or not, we deserved that Miggy winner I think. Love the passion in the cele with the fans. Build on this, Spurs gap is basically nothing.

Every time I see Isak’s goal it gets better and better
Didn’t just get his head on the end of it, he absolutely whipped his neck. Such a good header!
Injured next game with whiplash
The 1st half is the best I have seen our club in a long time.
My heart could of done without that initial equaliser, but I've missed this ;)
The small minority of fuckers here throwing Trippier under the bus when he was the 2nd option for man of the match can get fucked. Delighted with that. This was a huge 3 points. With Casemiro getting a red today it means we could really get a good haul going into the break.
What is the news on Gordon? Good win without him and Joe eli
I read 3 games out with ankle injury
Massive 3 points. It wasn#t perfect but we're back on track.
.... and 5^th place is ours!
Great sub to bring on Almiron. He looked class and should have had a goal and assist. It was a must win today and we've done it, really hope we get some confidence from that. Willock motm for me, brilliant game from him. Quality from Isak today as well and ASM.
Gonna inject this locker photo into me veins
Fuck yes. Finally
We're gonna get a locker room picture boys!!!
Finally! i can stop staring at the photo of the Southampton match.
By God, it's been a while
ST JAMES IS A FORTRESS
Two teams that work so hard all over the pitch. Wow. So proud of this win!
Fun ass game.
Climbing let's go.
This should have been a comfortable win. Instead we get another Pope mess up and gifted Wolves an equaliser. We need to finish more of our chances.
> Instead we get another Pope mess up and gifted Wolves an equaliser. You didn't watch the game then did you.
I did. Pope almost gave away a penalty and Trippier slipped in the box making a clearance. Gifting Wolves an equaliser.
Oh leave off, just be happy at the first win on ages
There's that big beautiful Bruno smile we've been missing
BIG WIN
Great performance from the whole team
Na na na na na na na na naaa
What's the name of that song?
Hey Darude by Sandstorm
Baby give it up
What's that tune?
[KC and the Sunshine Band - Give it Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeqtAB1WgEw) Or [Primal Scream's Moving on Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnkjvECEQr4)?
Cheers
WEEEE FUCKING WON
LOVE IT 🥰 Happy Sunday eve Toon Army
3 FUCKING POINTS LETS FUCKING GO
We won the Castore derby.
That build up play was so beautiful though… would have accepted no goal if we can see more of it
Big win that. Should have had it buried first half but I'll take the win.
STOP THE COUNT!
God I was so nervous there at the end… we needed this. GET INNNNNNNN!! HWTL!!!
Needed and deserved, up the fuckin mags
Thank fuck
Yeah without Joelinton that’s fucking gigantic
Tyler practically cheering Wolves on lol
Ready for the photo, feels like it's been ages
Phew finally 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank fuck for that
SHOW US THE PICTURE
Blow the whistle ref, my heart can't take it
WE’RE GETTING A PHOTO LADS
Oh how I've missed it
😭
No, Sky, I am not going to imagine Wolves scoring in the remaining time.
Oof
Well played lads. Could have really shit the bed when they equalised
Botman just can’t score can he. That was class though
Announce Amdy Faye.
That was insane, shouldn't have been Botman that got the shot, he's a centerback.
Sven bottling
That was beautiful but we will let Botman off cause he’s a defender
how this team manage to miss everything?
Shame Botman couldn't finish it but fuck that was beautiful
C’mon bot boy
Fuck me if Botman slotted that in I think we’d have just seen the best play leading to a goal, for the entire season
There was the Longstaff goal from a tasty Linton-Willock combination.
Typical Newcastle time wasting in injury time eh?
That pass from Bruno is so mint, if only Botman bury it.
That was fucking TASTY, just finish? I know it's Botman, but still.
[удалено]
He retired DrawCastle
Jesus Man, that was gorgeous Botman you gotta score
Almost an absolute banger
Brilliant from Almiron, should have an assist. Shocking finish Botman.
Fuck me that was so beautifully worked, unlucky for Botman
That was outrageous from bruno
Botman should have buried that.
That was almost glorious.
Awww Botman. There’s a reason you’re not a #9.
Botman is a defender
That linkup play makes me hard
Man he didn’t even have to hit that hard 😭
That must have hurt
That would have been such a lovely goal
Sky sports always calling out our game management as shithousery
Just checking. I didn't dream Wilson coming on? Been totally anonymous
Last few weeks folks were calling for Burn's head. He's played better today.
We still need a better fullback regardless.
He's been much better, but still need an actual left back
Solid showing absolutely
Isak being MOTM is great
Let us be the dark artists, all the fucking better to wind the sky 6 up with if/when we do it against them
We don't do anything different to any other side, it's just labelled differently because it annoys them
Completely agree, but if it has a mental effect on them I’m all for it
That's the shithouse united we love and support. 3 points is well... 3 points.
This may be a bit harsh but I was looking to see how Callum tested this cameo. Have to say when the roles were reversed Isak seemed much more involved and spirited in his cameos.
These shitfuck referees refuse to allow physicality in a man's sport
You mean when they didn’t allow Nick pope to trip someone in the box without getting anything on the ball? I think this tree has allowed play to go on more than most refs in premiership
Jimenez is notorious for diving, and this is why.
Clear dive. Tim Howard was wetting his pants about how Pope should have been sent off because there was "contact" , and he'd been sent off for it once but contact doesn't make you fall over like a sack of shit, cheating does. Graeme Lee Socks to his credit called it out for what it was.
Yeah, the ref has actually had a decent game imo.
Trippier and Isak? Surely Willock, he's been in all game.
Time wasting if it's us. Game management if it's a man team or scouse (or arse). So. Much. Fucking. Bias.
Ah, I see we're back on the 'Newcastle dark arts' narrative at sky. Fuck off.
He who must not be named doesn’t even play for us anymore.
5 minutes seems a bit long
Has Wilson won a ball since November? Christ
Who did it best? https://imgur.com/a/0UCMbTS
🤣
Shoop da woop
The way the Sky commentators go on you’d think we’re the inventors of time wasting
I know, “wasting a few seconds there drying the ball” I can’t remember the last time I saw someone take a throw-in when they didn’t dry the ball on their shirt beforehand.
Actual goldfish
I truly appreciate that we’re pressuring them so late in the game.
Carragher is seriously a shit smeared wet wipe.
What's he saying? I'm at work and can't watch the game
Just so anti newcastle narrative the man's a sloppy cock
one of the lemon scented ones that really give ring sting
Mint shower gel effect
Uber guy dropped wor lasses milkshake. The Miggy Effect
You mean he beautifully curled it, you couldn’t reach it and is nestled nicely against the wall…
Oh fuck off Carragher
Is it just me or is Wilson not hustling?
He seems to have downed tools like
Yeah really not impressed, he's pressing as if he started the game
He hasn't been as mobile since the WC. Looks like he's carrying an injury imo.
Aye after the game Howe said he hasn't trained all week and worked hard to even get out there. Marginally concerning considering Isak can't play the full 90 in our demanding system apparently.
I know he doesn’t really have a place anymore, but I can’t help but smile when I see Matt Ritchie come on as a sub.
Love the guy
He seems to be aging into a Simon Jordan lookalike.
I’m all for wolves playing out from the back with our pressing style.
Ending the game playing Bazball by the looks of it
The corner flags tremble once more
Murphy was class today, we needed that from him.
Can you explain what he did well? I’ve asked multiple people and I get vague statements like did a job but no specifics
Made some good runs, good passes, couple of niggly tackles, didn't stop all game, few good crosses. Not a 10/10 performance but definitely had a good game for us
What good runs/ passes? He ran a lot I’ll give you that but often didn’t move onto the next man on the press which effected us. Dribbled the ball out of play on one attack. Slowed down when played in as well. 5/10 at best. He’s the flavour of the month because of clapping against Southampton and he’s shit.
Wilson is a passerby. He really needs to stop hiding behind defenders and waiting for the perfect through ball.
Especially the fact that he is so slow when said perfect through ball is eventually made. Past few games he's been stuck in the mud
I'd like to that Carra is so anti-Newcastle because we'll go above Liverpool if we win. But really it's because he's a cunt.
It's weird considering he was a lonely voice on Sky for backing Newcastle during the Ashley years. It felt like it was just Carra and Jake Humphrey for years.
We weren't a threat to him then
He's been fellating the entire Wolves squad today, and their manager too.
The year is 2050. Matt Ritchie makes an appearance for Newcastle United.
Subscribe
Bruno and lobby have been passengers today.
Header against the bar?
Not saying they did nothing, just not very much.
They've had their moments but certainly not standout Wouldn't say they've played badly though
I hope Ronaldinho didn't see that, Bruno
It’s not been Bruno’s best display has it? Of all the players though, he’s certainly one who can be forgiven.
Thought he has been decent really, nothing special.
Convinced he's injured. Think he needs a rest when Joe's back (or are we just too awful without him?)
No but still made an impact at times, can't always play a 10/10 haha
Absolutely deserved ovation for Murphy.
How is it deserved? What did he do ? Is this place just full of morons who happy clap
He was mobile in the whole front of attack, crossed several times from the right, supported many of the Isak runs… i think I’ve seen enough useless performances from the right wing this year to identify one that isn’t.

Aww Murph looks so happy. Solid performance
Matt flag fucker Ritchie
Matt Ritchie?? Is it 2017??? Where is Anderson?
Murphy has had a great shift 👏
How? What did he do? Specifics
The corner flag is all yours, Matt.
i would really like us to win this, haha. hahaha. haha.
Can’t help not to love Murphy
Matt Ritchie sighting???
These last 10 is where we may miss big Joe. Hopefully we're pressing and not defensive.
Murphy has earned his place today
Wolves' defence has been proper shaky this game. We should have had 3 or 4 by now.
When Isak was on I was never not seeing him. Haven’t noticed Wilson at all yet
I'm not saying it's related but wor lass has been out this afternoon. She came back 10 minutes into second half. She's just gone to put some washing on a minute before Miggy's goal. Anyway, she's not allowed back in the living room.
The art of squad rotation in full display today
Love how often we seen Jones being summoned to Howe & Tindall’s chats
The pressing nearly paid off
I'm really glad we had that moment of magic just as all seemed dire
The baby-faced smiling assassin is BACK. Miggy, you absolute beauty
Haha I love Nick Pope slowly making sure to pick up Botman.
Lads fighting for that photo
Miggy in overdrive
Need a gif of almirons goal face there, channeling his inner tindall
[Magnificent.](https://i.redd.it/3odm3zwumcna1.jpg)
Someone's posted it already 🤣
Or replacing the triggered gif 😂😂
Get in Miggy, hopefully that shuts the people up slagging you off
Been enough goals against us with massive deflections of late. I’ll take that any day. Get the fuck in
I know the match isn’t over yet but Joe Willock MoM for me
He's been fucking everywhere. We've had some big performers today in him maxi and isak
He's been class, thought we'd miss Joelinton a lot today but Willocks put a hell of a shift in
Miggy as a sub is scary. Imagine him and Gordon on with time left running at tired wing back. Gwan wor Miggy.
