Grian and Pearl S-Tier?

Grian and Pearl S-Tier?

Shadowwolfheck

SHHHH guys, you're supposed to keep it a secret!

LookOutForNargles03

Wait in a serious way or a joking haha funny way? Cause I had to leave the stream early and I thought of this randomly and made it on my phone. If they really don’t want anyone to know I’ll take it down and repost it after the tournament! :D

Shadowwolfheck

in a haha funny joke way ;)

LookOutForNargles03

Okay thanks!!!

Overall_Eye9075

WAIT did they practice live? When? Where? Vod? Lol

LookOutForNargles03

As far as I know, only Shubble and Pete were streaming. Shubble left a bit before the others, but she was also hanging out with other people for a few hours before the rest of the team got on. It was a lot of fun, and I’d definitely recommend both streams!

Overall_Eye9075

Okay thank you!!! Im now watching pete lol

LookOutForNargles03

This whole ordeal was at the very end of Pete’s stream that started about four-five hours ago! It was quite funny

Krinios in BB after getting destroyed: LETS GO GRIAN! WOO!

missunicorn279

What’s mouse acceleration? (I’m a mobile player)

BlueCyann

It ties cursor displacement to mouse speed and makes it hard to have consistent aim when you're doing fast movements, as in PVP. If you turn it off after having had it on, it feels a bit like you've lowered sensitivity, but only for larger movements (which people tend to do quickly) as opposed to smaller ones. So for instance you might find you need to move your mouse a lot further to get your cursor from one corner of the screen to the opposite one.

Crafty-Counter5563

Mouse acts weird. Instead of the mouse having consistent movement it varies by speed, horrible for gaming. Somehow Grian killed Dream while having inconsistent mouse movement that he couldn’t control.

THATguywhoisannoying

Can you like dumb it down for me? I still can not understand it lol

The_SG1405

If you use a laptop or have ever used one, try moving the cursor from one end of the screen to another, by moving your finger from one end of the track pad (i.e the "mouse" on laptop) to another. If you move your finger slowly the mouse wil take more time to move from one end to the other, and if you do it quickly it will take less time. For eg. On my laptop if I move my finger slowly on the track pad, I will need to go the full length of my trackpad to move the cursor on the screen from one end to another. And if I move my finger quickly then it takes around 1/4th of the length of the trackpad to move the cursor from one end to another. This is similar for actual mouse on PCs.

QWERTYRedditter

it does exactly what it looks like. The more you move the mouse, the faster it goes

Crafty-Counter5563

Mouse acceleration increases the rate the mouse moves depending on how fast you move the mouse, it’s not that the more you move you go faster, it’s the faster you go the more you move.

THATguywhoisannoying

Basically mouse sensitivity?

Crafty-Counter5563

Not quite, mouse sensitivity is how sensitive the mouse is to movement. Mouse acceleration increases the rate the mouse moves depending on how fast you move the mouse. Say you move the mouse a couple inches very slowly and on screen the cursor is half way across the screen, then you do the exact same thing but faster and the cursor is all the way at the edge of the screen. If you disable mouse acceleration and do the moving thing slowly it reaches halfway and if you do the same thing faster it still reaches halfway, just faster than the previous time.

Illustrious-Voice216

Ohhh that’s cool how do I turn off lol I’ve been playing with that since I got my computer lol and also do I have to re turn it off every new mouse you use lol sorry for questions

regina_fibwi

It's a windows settings so you only have to do it once. It's called 'enhanced pointer precision' and is buried somewhere in advanced mouse properties

Illustrious-Voice216

Thank you!!

master9x3r4n

Its basially when you move your mouse like crazy but at a constant speed, but the cursor accelerates

QWERTYRedditter

it accelerates your cursor, is that clear?

AllCustoms

The faster you move the mouse the further the cursor goes turning it off keeps the distance your mouse has to move to get to a specific place in the screen the same no matter the speed.

XEVNN

Honestly, mouse acceleration isnt that bad, i pvped with it for around 7 months and i had ok aim, good enough to be good

Crafty-Counter5563

It’s very bad, you got used to it but because it makes mouse movement inconsistent, it’s horrible for games that require aiming, especially FPS games You might’ve been good with it on, but for most people because the mouse has inconsistent movement it makes it difficult to aim.

robobloz07

It is some QOL feature for mice that is enabled by default. Unfortunately, it can mess with your aim in video games like Minecraft

OneOfTheOlympians

Not exactly sure, but it has something to do with mouse sensitivity

random-user-420

Not exactly sure, all I know is that it’s a big no for any competitive game so you should have it off if you play video games

that_leaflet

Say you move your mouse 5 inches at a medium speed. If you move your mouse 5 inches slowly, the mouse cursor will travel less distance. If you mouse your mouse 5 inches quickly, your mouse cursor would travel more distance.

useles-converter-bot

5 inches is the length of approximately 0.56 'Wood Spoons; Wooden Rice Paddle Versatile Serving Spoons' laid lengthwise

Practical_Jacket_524

Battle box is gonna be fun this MCC

robobloz07

ngl I'm kinda interested to see how much they will be affected by this change

BlueCyann

It wasn't really the end is the funny thing. Pearl, Grian and Pete wound up hanging out for at least another hour doing Terra Swoop Force and just talking. They're still going for that matter. Pearl and Grian wound up joining an Among Us lobby with 3 other Hermits and some of their friends. I don't even want to think about what time it is for Grian right now. Hope he gets a nap, lol.

ziggory

Oh, wow, so Grian ended up joining the Among Us game after all? I hope his sunburn isn't too bad tomorrow.

LookOutForNargles03

I’m pretty sure he started a new stream somehow? Cause when I went back and looked at it there was a VOD available to watch but he was still streaming. Idk, could’ve been a weird glitch from my phone.

Csbbk4

Wait what’s mouse acceleration?

LookOutForNargles03

Basically when you move your mouse quickly, the cursor moves farther than if you moved your mouse the same distance at a slower speed. You can test it yourself by putting your mouse at the edge of your mousepad (or anywhere really, as long as you can visualize a stopping and starting point) and moving it slowly to the other side of the mousepad. Take note of how far it moves. Then, put your mouse back to the starting point and move it to the same ending point, just really quickly. If your cursor moved farther the second time, you have mouse acceleration on! It’s not really a big deal, but if you’re serious about PVP, parkour, etc., it’s best to turn it off. It’ll be within your actual computer, not Minecraft.

Crafty-Counter5563
